3 Ingredient Peanut Butter and Honey Protein Pancakes

It's Movie Monday again and that means we are sharing another tasty recipe inspired by a newly released movie. This month's movie is Wonder Woman and Ava and I are super stoked to have a movie date to watch it! The movie comes out in theaters on June 2nd.
Wonder Woman has been featured in DC Comics for 75 years so it's about dang time a movie came out about her! I love seeing powerful women warriors on the big screen and I love that Ava has a female superhero to look up to.
I knew I wanted to create a recipe that would give my kiddos the energy and strength of their favorite female superhero so I came up with these delish Peanut Butter and Honey Protein Pancakes. I always struggle with getting them to eat breakfast and the easier {and mess free} the better! I made a big batch this week of these pancakes and I'm happy to say Ava gobbled them up!
Make some for you and your family today and you'll feel strong and powerful
like Wonder Woman too!
We went to a Glow Party on Ft Polk and my little mini me and I got our faces painted as our favorite: Wonder Woman! Stella was more interested in the free food!
"A new journey to be started.
A new promise to be fulfilled.
A new page to be written.
Go forth unto this waiting world with pen in hand, all you young scribes,
the open book awaits.
Be creative.
Be adventurous.
Be original.
And above all else, be young.
For youth is your greatest weapon, your greatest tool.
Use it wisely."

–Wonder Woman

Makes 10-12 sand dollar size pancakes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter

  1. Add all 3 ingredients to a large bowl and, using a whisk, mix well.
  2. I like to add to a measuring cup with a spout for pouring or a squeeze bottle.
  3. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium low heat.
  4. Add non stick spray and then add a drizzle of batter in your desired amount. I made small kid size circle pancakes.
  5. Cook for a couple minutes until bubbles appear then flip and cook on the other side until golden.
  6. Remove to a plate and repeat with remaining batter.
  7. Serve alone or with syrup, honey, or jam.

I love easy recipes! These pancakes couldn't be easier- with just 3 ingredients!
Add all three ingredients to a large bowl.
Whisk until smooth.
I like to add the batter to a measuring cup with a spout for pouring or a squeeze bottle.
If you use a squeeze bottle you can draw shapes or letters too!
Of course we had to make a Wonder Woman logo!
Add non stick spray and then add a drizzle of batter in your desired amount.
I made small kid size circle pancakes.
Cook for a couple minutes until bubbles appear then flip and cook on the other side until golden.
Remove to a plate and repeat with remaining batter.
Serve alone or with syrup, honey, or jam.
I had to take a few pics with Ava's Wonder Woman purse!
Make some for you and your family today and you'll feel strong and powerful like Wonder Woman too!

Princess Fruit Wands and Mother's Day Tea Party

 Happy Mother's Day friends!

I am one blessed Mama, with two beautiful, sweet little girls who have made me oh so happy!
To celebrate Mother's Day we had a fun tea party at a local park a couple weeks ago.
We dressed up, made bite size treats, brewed chocolate tea, and I even brought along my Nana's fancy china tea set! We had a wonderful time and I will cherish the photos always!

Hummus Flower Power Dip

Happy National Hummus Day! We are a huge hummus lovin' family here so we created my kiddos a pretty Hummus Flower Power Dip to enjoy at snack time today. Use any flavored hummus you want and add veggie dippers as the flower petals and voila a healthy hummus treat!

DIY Mickey Waffle Bar and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Disney Kids Preschool Playdate Party

I have some exciting new for y'all!
We were asked by Disney Parks to host a Disney Kids Preschool Playdate this year!
Needless to say the kids and I were thrilled!
They sent us a suitcase full of party supplies, games, and gifts and the girls and I set to work planning our first Disney Kids Preschool Playdate
We decided on a playdate at our local park with fun outdoor games and picnic style food.
That was easy but choosing a theme wasn't so simple! We went back and forth with ideas because there are SO many Disney shows and movies! Finally, we agreed on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, the girls' favorite show on the Disney Channel.
I ordered these fun printable invites on Etsy. Find similar here.
One of the most popular foods that we served at the party was the Mickey Shaped Waffles.
If you have been to Disney World you have probably seen these fun waffles on the breakfast buffets.
We ordered a Mickey Waffle Maker off Amazon and made a huge platter Belgian style thick and soft waffles and served them with all the toppings. Check out all the details below.
The super talented Keichel Cookies made these amazing cookies for our party!

Mickey Mouse Chocolate Dipped Rice Krispies Treats

These Mickey Mouse Shaped Rice Krispies Treats are fun to make and a favorite of both adults and kids. I dipped these in chocolate and added Mickey shaped sprinkles for a fun touch!

Last month I hosted a Disney Kids Preschool Playdate, sponsored by Disney Parks, at our local park. We had a whopping 40 adults and kiddos attend our Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed shindig. Stay tuned for the party blog post tomorrow {and a DIY Mickey Waffle Bar}. Until then, check out a few fun photos from our party then scroll down for the Mickey Mouse Chocolate Dipped Rice Krispies Treats recipe.
Our Mickey photo frame and character props were a cute touch!
My kiddos, Ava and Stella, played and played and played some more. These two had such a blast with their friends playing Mickey games and eating Mickey themed food!
