Crock-Pot Blackberry Glazed Ham

Boy, do I have something tasty to share with ya'll today!

My #1 recipe on this blog is my Crock-Pot Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham and it has been my go to recipe for holiday meals for years. But this year for Easter, I decided to try something different with my spiral ham in the Crock-Pot. I have been using fruit spreads in my sauces and recipes a lot lately so I made a glaze with blackberry jam and maple syrup for topping my ham.
Perfectly cooked in just a few hours in the Crock-Pot, this Blackberry Ham is so good it may just be my new signature holiday ham!
Also check out my #1 viral recipe: Crock-Pot Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham

Ingredients:

Use a large or approx. 6-quart Crockpot.
  • 1 Ham, pre-cooked, spiral cut {can use bone in or boneless}
  • 1 16-18oz jar seedless blackberry jam
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 pint blackberries, for garnish {optional}

Directions:

  1. Add blackberry jam and syrup to a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir and cook until smooth and warm. You should have about 3 cups.
  3. Pour 1 cup of blackberry glaze in the inside bottom of the Crock-Pot.
  4. Add your ham, flat side down.
  5. Pour remaining glaze all over the ham.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  7. When ready to serve, move ham to a platter.
  8. Pour on extra liquid from the Crock-Pot to keep the ham moist and garnish with fresh blackberries.
Any ham will work with this recipe.
 I used a bone in, spiral cut ham that was 11.5lbs.
Blackberry jam is delicious with the ham but you could also try cherry preserves and apricot jam.
Add blackberry jam and syrup to a small saucepan over medium heat.
Stir and cook until smooth and warm.
You should have about 3 cups.
Pour 1 cup of blackberry glaze in the inside bottom of the Crock-Pot.
Add your ham, flat side down.
Pour remaining glaze all over the ham.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
If your ham is too tall for the Crock-Pot lid to fit, no problem!
Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Bonus: you don't heat up your house since you are not using your oven
and your kitchen smells amazing!
When ready to serve, move ham to a platter.
All you need are 3 ingredients for this holiday ham!
Pour on extra liquid from the Crock-Pot to keep the ham moist
and garnish with fresh blackberries. Enjoy!
