This recipe is from McGuire's cookbook so it's pretty close. However, I remember when I worked there they have a frozen drink machine that it is prepared in with the ice cream and it churns all day long so that's why their's has that super thick consistency. The best drink in town!

I want to make them for St Paddy's Day dinner at our house this weekend but my experimenting is resulting in too thin a drink. Does McGuire's make these and then freeze them before serving? Theirs were so thick you couldn't sip through a straw until they sat for a while. Thoughts or suggestions?
