Hi thanks for your comment. I grew up in the area too. I have not tried the seafood nachos there but I love the fried soft shell crab sandwich at The Back Porch. As for the cheese sauce, I like it thick but if you want it thinner skip the cream cheese and just make a roux (follow directions for flour and butter) and add shredded cheese.
