This post is sponsored in conjunction with #BrunchWeek. I received product samples from sponsor companies to aid in the creation of the #Brunchweek recipes. All opinions are mine alone.

Today is the last day of BrunchWeek and I have loved seeing all the delicious treats and eats that have been shared all week long! This is my fourth recipe and dare I say I left the best for last? If there is one thing I always serve during brunch it is Sweet Tea. Today I am sharing a jazzed up Sweet Tea recipe, this time with fruit juice mixed in called Southern Fruit Iced Tea . And what is a good Sweet Iced Tea without sugar, right? I used Dixie Crystals sugar to add the perfect sweetness to my brewed tea. Scroll down for the recipe and check out my drink inspiration in the pics below.

When my darling cousin got married seven years ago,

we had a brunch with just the girls at a local cafe called Dumplins.

They served Fruit Tea there and that is where I first tried this amazing drink.

Now I am hooked and I had to create my own version at home!

This cute spot not only has tasty drinks but also delicious food and mouthwatering baked goods.

A true Southern sweet tea has lots {and lots} of sugar! I use 1 cup in mine. Be aure to mix into the warm tea so it will dissolve.

I like to use family sized tea bags for my iced tea recipes.
You need 1 bag per pint of tea.

Add two tea bags to the boiling water then remove from heat and let them steep for 5 minutes.

The sun is out and the weather is warm and that means it’s time to brew some sun tea!

Being a Southern lady we drink sweet iced tea all year round but come summer time I love to make fruit infused sun tea. Sun Tea means instead of boiling water inside you “brew” the tea in the warm sun. Simply place your tea bags in a large beverage jar filled with cool water and set in a sunny place {I use my backyard patio} and let the tea bags steep and brew. Then I add pureed and chopped fruit, sugar, and ice and serve! A refreshing cool drink for summertime!

Being the proud Southern lady I am, my favorite drink no matter the season is Sweet Iced Tea. None of that unsweetened stuff {I shudder to think..} but fresh brewed, sugar sweetened, cold tea all the way! I usually brew my tea on the stove but I thought today, with the weather being so lovely and our new patio finished, I would try Sun Tea. Y’all it is so easy peasy and made the most ah-mazing Iced Tea ever! Even better, I used a couple bags of herbal berry tea to add a subtle fruit flavor and then garnished my glasses with fresh raspberries! I could {and will} drink this all summer long!

I used family size Lipton iced tea bags and Wild Berry herbal tea bags.

The rule of thumb is about 1 cup of water to every regular size tea bag {family size bag= 2 normal tea bags}.

I ended up using 6 family size iced tea bags and 2 raspberry tea bags.

You want it to brew for 1-2 hours- not any longer or it may get bitter.

Ava decided to water her flowers {in her pjs, of course} while our tea brewed.

Fast forward to two hours later….our tea’s ready to bring inside!

The berries add a natural sweetness but I wanted a {little} more so I mixed in 1/2 cup sugar.

I added a few ice cubes to my mason jar glasses and filled with fresh tea.

Top it off with some fresh berries and a straw and you are set!

Check out what my handy dandy husband built for us!

A new patio, complete with gate and umbrella holder.

{Isn’t Ava’s little picnic table the cutest thing?}
