For the barbecue sauce: add all sauce ingredients to a large saucepan.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring often.
Turn heat to med-low and let simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
Taste and add more brown sugar if you would like it a little sweeter.
Carefully pour into a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cut the bacon into thirds and wrap around each smokie. Secure with a toothpick.
Arrange smokies in a single layer on an aluminum foil lined baking sheet.
In a bowl mix together melted butter and 1/2 cup of blueberry barbecue sauce.
Brush the mixture on each wrapped little smokie.
Bake 15-20 minutes
Raise the oven to 400 degrees for another 5 minutes to crisp up the bacon.
Remove from oven and remove smokies to a paper towel lined plate.
Brush smokies with approx 1/4-1/2 cup of Blueberry Barbecue Sauce {amount depends on how much you want to coat them}.
Serve warm and watch them disappear!
