Green Eggs and Ham Quiche
Serves 6
Ingredients

frozen pie shell
thawed
1
cup
sliced deli ham
diced
1
cup
whole milk {or heavy cream}
6
eggs
beaten
1
cup
shredded gruyere or white cheddar cheese
divided
green food coloring
as needed
salt/white pepper
to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Whisk eggs and milk in a bowl. Add salt and pepper.
Add 6 drops of green food coloring and whisk to combine.
Add more if you want it darker and brighter.
Sprinkle ham and half the cheese in the bottom of the pie crust.
Pour egg mixture into the pie crust.
Top with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
Bake for 35-45 minutes or until set.
Cool slightly then slice into 6 servings.
