Brown Sugar Heart Meatloaf
Makes 4-6 servings
Ingredients

lb
ground pork
1
egg
1/2
cup
panko breadcrumbs
1/2
yellow onion
grated
2
cloves
garlic
minced
1/2
cup
cheddar cheese
shredded {optional}
For the brown sugar glaze:
1/4
cup
ketchup
2
tbsp
brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a small bowl add ketchup and brown sugar. Stir well and set aside.
In a large bowl add ground pork, egg, breadcrumbs, seasoning, grated onion, and garlic.
Mix together by hand.
Spread a few spoonfuls of brown sugar glaze on the bottom of your baking dish.
Add half of your meatloaf mixture.
Add your shredded cheese to the middle then top with the remaining meatloaf, pressing to cover the cheese.
Spread on the remaining glaze.
Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through and no longer pink.
Gently remove from dish, slice, and serve with mashed potatoes and veggies.
