Core and slice apples, leaving the peel one.
Add the apples and cornstarch to a large bowl and toss to coat.
Next, add the cinnamon, apple pie spice, and brown sugar and mix well.
Pour into a slow cooker.
Finally, pour in melted butter and apple cider.
Cover and cook for 2 hours or until apples are tender and sauce is thickened.
