<p style="text-align: center;">I am from Florida and last month we were lucky enough to travel home to the Florida Panhandle to see my family for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time and one of my favorite memories is taking my kids to the beach. There is really nothing like it. The smooth white sand, the cool air, the blue green ocean, the ocean life and birds everywhere, and our favorite, the shells!&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33530" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211127_164512-01-768x1024.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="400" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211127_164512-01-768x1024.jpeg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211127_164512-01-225x300.jpeg 225w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211127_164512-01-1152x1536.jpeg 1152w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211127_164512-01-1536x2048.jpeg 1536w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211127_164512-01-640x853.jpeg 640w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211127_164512-01-150x200.jpeg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211127_164512-01-scaled.jpeg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">So naturally for this year&#8217;s Christmas Trees on Parade I wanted to make a Florida Beach Tree.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33510" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9925-683x1024.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="450" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9925-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9925-200x300.jpg 200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9925-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9925-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9925-1365x2048.jpg 1365w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9925-150x225.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9925-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I used a small white tree that reminded me of beach sand and placed it on a table with a light blue holiday blanket and a white fur table runner to represent the beach.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33519" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9946-683x1024.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="450" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9946-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9946-200x300.jpg 200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9946-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9946-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9946-1365x2048.jpg 1365w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9946-150x225.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9946-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I added a few large shells and decor on the blanket and base of the tree and then decorated with a variety of shells, beach themed ornaments, and handmade trinkets</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">and decorations from our visits to Florida.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33531" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211124_163600-01-768x1024.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="400" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211124_163600-01-768x1024.jpeg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211124_163600-01-225x300.jpeg 225w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211124_163600-01-1152x1536.jpeg 1152w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211124_163600-01-1536x2048.jpeg 1536w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211124_163600-01-640x853.jpeg 640w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211124_163600-01-150x200.jpeg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20211124_163600-01-scaled.jpeg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I adore special mementos on family trips so every year we have celebrated Christmas in Florida</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">we made an ornament filled with sand and shells from the nearby beach. This is what first inspired my beach tree.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33517" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9944-1024x683.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9944-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9944-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9944-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9944-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9944-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9944-150x100.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9944-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">So if you have a special ornament from a trip or family memory or tradition start there and see what themed tree you can create with it!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33511" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9928-1024x683.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9928-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9928-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9928-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9928-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9928-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9928-150x100.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9928-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Every year we add a new ornament (or two or three) and this year I found my ornament at the Pensacola Farmer&#8217;s Market.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">It is a resin filled ornament with sand and shells and it looks perfect front and center on my beach tree!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33513" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9937-1024x683.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9937-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9937-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9937-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9937-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9937-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9937-150x100.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9937-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Other special ornaments were added such as these market finds from Florida.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33514" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9938-1024x683.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9938-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9938-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9938-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9938-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9938-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9938-150x100.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9938-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Color is good too! I decided the look of this tree would be white and blue but you can make a bright and colorful beach tree too!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Think summer vacation or kids at the beach theme and add colorful flipflops, fish and animal ornaments along with photos of your family at the beach.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33515" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9941-683x1024.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="450" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9941-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9941-200x300.jpg 200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9941-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9941-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9941-1365x2048.jpg 1365w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9941-150x225.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9941-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I have a small box of these plastic gold shells that I call my &#8220;fillers&#8221;. They fill in empty spaces, add some color, and are also good for adding to the back of a tree.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Tip: some mini trees will tip over if they are too heavy on the front so be sure to always add ornaments to the back too.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33520" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9948-683x1024.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="450" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9948-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9948-200x300.jpg 200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9948-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9948-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9948-1365x2048.jpg 1365w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9948-150x225.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9948-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I had other fun beach ornaments that were too big for my little tree but too cute not to display. I added them around the tree as decor. How cute is the beach Santa?!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33521" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9949-1024x683.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9949-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9949-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9949-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9949-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9949-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9949-150x100.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9949-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Since the base and tree are white I simply added a few large shells around the bottom. No tree skirt needed!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33518" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9945-683x1024.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="450" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9945-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9945-200x300.jpg 200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9945-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9945-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9945-1365x2048.jpg 1365w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9945-150x225.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9945-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The final touch? A large sand dollar (I found this one while snorkeling) to top the tree. A starfish would also be a nice topper.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33516" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9942-683x1024.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="450" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9942-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9942-200x300.jpg 200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9942-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9942-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9942-1365x2048.jpg 1365w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9942-150x225.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/IMG_9942-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">This beach tree brings a smile to my face every time I walk by it!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">It represents myself, the Florida girl who loves the beach, and also my kids and the beach trips and memories we have made together!</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This month we were lucky enough to take a trip back home to Florida before Ava heads back to school. Ashton unfortunately had to work so my Mom came to Louisiana then drove to Florida with us. We had a fantastic end of summer vacation with my parents and made memories I will treasure forever. We explored Farmer&#8217;s Markets in both Pensacola and Destin, spent our afternoons playing at the splash park and having picnics, filled out bellies every night with local seafood, and, my favorite, enjoyed the beautiful Northwest Florida beaches.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9857-682x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9857-682x1024.jpg" width="311" height="467" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">My babies both love water and they are happiest at the beach and pool. Ava loves feeding the seagulls with her Papa, combing the sand for shells with her Oba, flying kites with her Daddy, and splashing in the warm ocean water! Stella, my happy baby girl, wasn&#8217;t too sure about the sand at first, but boy did she loves the water and the waves!&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9877-657x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9877-657x1024.jpg" width="205" height="320" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I just love the pictures I captured of my girls on the beach during our trip. They look so happy and carefree and I hope they always stay that way!&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/14102389_10153833168800980_266124624838420340_n.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/14102389_10153833168800980_266124624838420340_n.jpg" width="180" height="320" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">In honor of our Florida trip I made <b>Beach Sand Pudding</b> for my girls and I to enjoy on our final vacation days. The recipe was sent to me by my friend Jennifer last summer and I simplified it and made them in mason jars so they were perfectly portable for beach picnics! Add cute little chocolate shells on top and tie on a spoon and you are all set!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9840-682x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9840-682x1024.jpg" width="213" height="320" border="0"></a><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/14045720_10153833168900980_2928411612713830647_n.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/14045720_10153833168900980_2928411612713830647_n.jpg" width="186" height="320" border="0"></a></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">Stella wasn&#8217;t afraid to get messy! No surprise there.</div>
