<p style="text-align: center;">One of my favorite childhood treats was peanut butter and chocolate buckeyes and today I&#8217;m sharing my own recipe.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">These homemade sweet treats are a delicious no bake classic candy. They are perfect for year round gift giving and make a pretty party tray dessert!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-34143" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Good-Cookie-Logo-RGB.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="291" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Good-Cookie-Logo-RGB.jpg 600w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Good-Cookie-Logo-RGB-300x219.jpg 300w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Good-Cookie-Logo-RGB-150x109.jpg 150w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I’m so excited to participate in this Valentine’s event (again). This is the sixth year for our event and we want to continue to make a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Cancer is the #1 cause of death of children by disease in the U.S. There are 40,000 U.S. children actively battling cancer right now. The National Cancer Institute’s budget for childhood cancer is less than 4%. It’s such a small number and that’s why I got involved.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-34141" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/cookies-for-kids-cancer-logo.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/cookies-for-kids-cancer-logo.jpg 400w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/cookies-for-kids-cancer-logo-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/cookies-for-kids-cancer-logo-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/cookies-for-kids-cancer-logo-320x321.jpg 320w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/cookies-for-kids-cancer-logo-96x96.jpg 96w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">And with the ongoing pandemic, children are still being diagnosed with cancer. It’s imperative that we raise awareness and continue to raise funds to fund the ongoing pediatric cancer research!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Help us make a difference by donating to <a href="https://my.beagoodcookie.org/fundraiser/3658522" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Cookies for Kids&#8217; Cancer</a>!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;<img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-34142" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Dixie-Crystals-Square-Logo.jpg" alt="" width="226" height="226" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Dixie-Crystals-Square-Logo.jpg 226w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Dixie-Crystals-Square-Logo-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Dixie-Crystals-Square-Logo-96x96.jpg 96w" sizes="(max-width: 226px) 100vw, 226px" /><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-34144" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Mediavine-logo.png" alt="" width="226" height="226" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Mediavine-logo.png 226w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Mediavine-logo-150x150.png 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Mediavine-logo-96x96.png 96w" sizes="(max-width: 226px) 100vw, 226px" /> <img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-34145" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/OXO.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/OXO.jpg 300w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/OXO-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/OXO-96x96.jpg 96w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" />&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Our goal is to raise at least $3000. Because these three companies: <a href="https://www.oxo.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">OXO</a>, <a href="https://www.mediavine.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Mediavine</a> amd <a href="http://www.dixiecrystals.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Dixie Crystals</a> have each pledged to match our donations raised through this campaign up to $3000! That means when we raise $1, it turns into $4!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Thank you to so many of you who have already donated, please help us reach our goal so we can get the full matching donations and help us make an even huge difference!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://my.beagoodcookie.org/fundraiser/3658522" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Donate here today.</a>&nbsp;</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Growing up one of my favorite treats were <b>Buckeye</b> candies- decadent chocolate balls with a creamy peanut butter center. These delicious cookies are inspired by the Buckeyes I know and love. They have a brownie like texture and if you love peanut butter and chocolate as much as I do, I bet you can&#8217;t eat just one!&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I joined the <b>&nbsp;Food Blogger Love Cookie Exchange</b> this year to spread a little love this holiday season by exchanging cookies with fellow food bloggers! You are secretly matched with 3 bloggers and you send each a dozen cookies. Then you receive a dozen cookies from 3 different bloggers too. I received <b>Cherry Nut Nuggets</b> from <a href="http://www.thatrecipe.com/blog/2016/12/05/cherry-nut-nuggets/">That Recipe</a>, <b>Gingerbread Biscotti</b> from <a href="http://www.turnips2tangerines.com/2016/12/gingerbread-biscotti-fbl-cookie-exchange.html">Turnips to Tangerines</a>, and <b>Chocolate Malted Whopper Drops</b> from <a href="http://sarahcooksthebooks.blogspot.com/2016/12/baking-from-my-home-to-yours-chocolate.html">Sarah Cooks the Books</a>. They were all delicious and perfect for holiday snacking! Ashton even took a plate full to work and they were gone in minutes!&nbsp;</div>
