<div style="text-align: center;">I know I mention Ashton, my husband often, and most of the time I am talking about how this recipe is his favorite. Well, here I go again! What can I say, we are a foodie family! A match made in heaven, for sure! My man loves <b>Peanut Brittle </b>and I made this recipe for him when we were first dating and we were separated for Christmas. I mailed him the <b>brittle </b>and I personally think it sealed the deal because when he came back home we were engaged within a month!&nbsp; So be careful who you make this <b>Peanut Brittle</b> for! I should call it <b>Engagement Brittle</b>!<br />
<a style="font-size: 18.72px; font-weight: bold; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sPgl-NIa3k0/UqaDP6zMfZI/AAAAAAAAN2A/dD8vk5aU-Ls/s1600/IMG_2836.JPG"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/IMG_2836-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></p>
<div style="text-align: center;">The best part is it only takes 7 minutes and you make it all in the microwave!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Heck yay! Talk about easy peasy! This is a great recipe to make with the kids but be aware it is HOT and it hardens quickly so you have to be fast!</div>

<p><b>Update {2016}</b> : For Father&#8217;s Day this year I made Ashton a batch of his favorite <b>peanut brittle</b> and presented it on a football shaped cutting board with a customized hammer {to crack the brittle}. He loved it and it was a quick last minute gift idea!<img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-5096" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/peanutbrittlegift-682x1024.jpg" alt="" width="508" height="763" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/peanutbrittlegift-682x1024.jpg 682w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/peanutbrittlegift-200x300.jpg 200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/peanutbrittlegift-768x1153.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/peanutbrittlegift.jpg 1066w" sizes="(max-width: 508px) 100vw, 508px" /></p>

<div style="text-align: center;">Remove from microwave and quickly stir in vanilla and baking soda. It will fizz up.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">Wrap in saran wrap or plastic baggies and give as gifts! This brittle lasts a while if store in a covered container.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I mailed it to Ashton this year and it was still delicious after 2 weeks of travel time!&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Easiest 7 minutes ever, right?</div>
