<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">It&#8217;s <b>Minion Madness week</b> here in our household with the new<i> <b>Minion</b></i> movie out this weekend!&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Ava has loved minions since we watched the first <i><b>Despicable Me</b></i> movie when she was a baby and we even threw her a <a href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/2013/10/despicable-me-birthday-party-and.html">Despicable Me 1st Birthday Party</a>!&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/20150707_122614-768x1024.jpg" width="305" height="407" border="0"></div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">To celebrate the new movie {which of course we are seeing in the theater ASAP!} I made a <b>minion</b> inspired lunch for my little sweetie. This idea was inspired by another blogger, Parrish at&nbsp;<a href="http://www.lifewiththecrustcutoff.com/">Lifewiththecrustcutoff.com</a>&nbsp;who made a similar <b>minion pizza</b> but Ava loves quesadillas, so I decided to switch it up and make a extra cheesy, turkey filled, olive topped <b>Minion Quesadilla</b>!&nbsp;</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">Coat a skillet with non stick spray and heat over medium.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Add a small handful of shredded cheese (about 1/4 cup) on top.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Top with another tortilla.&nbsp;</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;Let cook for a minute then flip over and lightly brown the other side and heat through.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Remove to a baking sheet and repeat with remaining tortillas and fillings until you have four quesadillas on a baking sheet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8320-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8320-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;Add 2 pieces sliced cheddar cheese to the top of each quesadilla (I cut one slice in half to try to fill most of the space on the tortilla). Then I cut a circle of sliced mozzarella cheese (I traced the bottom of the olive cup with my knife for the circle) and place that in the center for the eye on each tortilla.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8423-1024x622.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8423-1024x622.jpg" width="320" height="194" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We love snacking on olives so I buy these 1oz cups.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;I used two of these cups and sliced the olives to make the minion face and googles.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8322-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8322-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Simply lay the sliced olives on top of the cheese to make the minion googles and eye. Then I added half a slice for a smile and a couple chopped pieces on top for hair.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8419-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8419-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Bake at 300 degrees for a few minutes, just enough to melt the cheese.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I tried this with both sliced cheese and shredded and I like the look</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">of the melted sliced cheese better but both turned out cute!&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8324-732x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8324-732x1024.jpg" width="228" height="320" border="0"></a><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8421-704x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_8421-704x1024.jpg" width="220" height="320" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Let cool slightly then cute into triangles and serve.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Ava likes to dip hers in honey mustard!</div>
