<p><i><b>Happy Movie Monday friends!</b></i></p>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">This month&#8217;s theme is <b>Back to School</b> and I am excited to share a recipe inspired by one of my favorite comedies:<b> <i>Napoleon Dynamite</i></b>. If you love the movie like I do you know there Napoleon has a love for tater tots and carries them in his pants pocket.<br />
<a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9359-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9359-1024x682.jpg" width="398" height="265" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600"></a><br />
So my clever husband came up with the idea to make <b>Tot Pockets</b>, like Hot Pockets but with tater tots added to the meat and cheese filling!<br />
<a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/poster-650849c3-e0a4-4c85-beaa-3700ba512613-683x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/poster-650849c3-e0a4-4c85-beaa-3700ba512613-683x1024.jpg" width="305" height="457" border="0" data-original-height="1500" data-original-width="1000"></a><br />
On the last Monday of each month, a group of bloggers participate in a #MovieMondayChallenge, hosted by&nbsp;<a href="http://www.cmongetcrafty.com/">C&#8217;mon Get Crafty</a>! We decide on a topic, genre, or specific movie to use for inspiration and everyone gets free reign to create something wonderful! If you&#8217;d like to join our Facebook group, you can request an invite&nbsp;<a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/1224615690943169/">here</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/1804212403-napoleon_tots1.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/1804212403-napoleon_tots1.jpg" width="399" height="362" border="0" data-original-height="375" data-original-width="414"></a></div>
<p>I seriously cannot stop laughing during this entire movie!<br />
What is your favorite back to school themed movie?</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/tumblr_ogtch7PUCC1vqe7n6o1_500.png"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/tumblr_ogtch7PUCC1vqe7n6o1_500.png" width="320" height="311" border="0" data-original-height="486" data-original-width="500"></a></div>

<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter" style="border: 0pt none;" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/fork-9.png" align="center"></p>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9330-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9330-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I bought a small bag of frozen tater tots and baked half the bag.<br />
I let my kiddos eat half and used about 24 tots for the Tot Pockets.<br />
<a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9343-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9343-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600"></a><br />
I decided to use puff pastry for these pockets because I love the flaky, rich flavor.<br />
You can also use pie crust or biscuit dough.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9339-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9339-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600"></a><br />
Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheets. Roll out to make it thinner.<br />
<a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9331-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9331-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600"></a><br />
Cut each sheet into 4 squares.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9332-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9332-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600"></a></div>
<p>&nbsp;You can use any filling with the tater tots.<br />
I like chicken, turkey, bacon, or ham and then lots of cheese.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9333-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9333-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600"></a></div>
<p>&nbsp;Add a couple spoonfuls of diced ham and shredded cheese on the left side of each square.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9335-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9335-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600"></a></div>
<p>&nbsp;Top with 3 tater tots each.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9336-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9336-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600"></a></div>
<p>Brush the beaten egg on all edges of the square.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9337-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9337-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600"></a></div>
<p>&nbsp;Fold over the top half of the dough to form a pocket.<br />
Brush tops of each pocket with egg so it will bake a golden color.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9341-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9341-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Crimp the edges with a fork to seal and poke a few holes on top to vent.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9338-1024x636.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/IMG_9338-1024x636.jpg" width="320" height="198" border="0" data-original-height="993" data-original-width="1600"></a></div>
<p>&nbsp;Place on a large lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees.</p>
