Homemade Cherry Sorbet
Ingredients
1 1 /2 - 2
lbs
pitted cherries
frozen
1
cup
water
1
cup
sugar
2
tbsp
lemon juice
Instructions
First make simple syrup. In a small sauce add water and sugar and bring to a boil.
Stir until sugar is dissolved then remove from heat and let cool completely.
Add frozen, pitted cherries to a blender or large food processor.
Add in simple syrup and lemon juice.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into a loaf pan, smoothing out the top and place in the freezer {for at least a few hours or overnight if you have time}.
Remove from freezer and scoop into cones or cups.
