<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">One of the meals I have to order every time I go to New Orleans {and the surrounding areas} is <b>Barbecue Shrimp</b>. If you have never tried this classic&nbsp;NOLA dish before, they are not grilled or tossed in BBQ sauce as their name may apply. In New Orleans,<b> Barbecue Shrimp </b>are sautéed jumbo peel and eat shrimp in a tangy Worcestershire butter sauce. They are always cooked with the shells {and sometime heads} left on. And the flavorful broth is best soaked up with crusty French bread. This is not a meal for the dainty eater. You eat the shrimp with your hands and you get messy. Really messy. I am talking 10 napkins messy. But it is worth it. <b>Barbecue Shrimp</b> are tender and succulent and the flavorful broth will make you want to lick the bowl clean!&nbsp;</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">I use jumbo or even colossal size shrimp with the shells on for this recipe.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I buy Royal Red shrimp when I am in Florida&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">at my favorite seafood market, <a href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/2011/05/visit-home-trip-to-joes-pattis-seafood.html">Joe Patti&#8217;s </a>in Pensacola, FL.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_8102-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_8102-1024x682.jpg" width="503" height="335" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I prefer headless shrimp but I leave the shells on.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">They soak up that delicious broth when cooking.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_8093-682x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_8093-682x1024.jpg" width="302" height="454" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">If you want to save a few steps my Dad loves this</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;Barbequed Shrimp Seasoning by River Road.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">You just add butter!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_8095-682x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_8095-682x1024.jpg" width="308" height="463" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">A must for Barbecue Shrimp: crusty French bread on the side for dipping in the sauce!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9755-1-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9755-1-1024x682.jpg" width="499" height="332" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I like to grate a 1/4 of a large yellow {I prefer Vidalia} onion and add it to my sauce.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">It adds a delicious flavor without being chunky.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_8101-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_8101-1024x682.jpg" width="502" height="334" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">In a large heavy bottomed skillet, add 1 stick of butter and melt over medium high heat.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_8090-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_8090-1024x682.jpg" width="500" height="333" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This dish take a lot of butter. I am talking old school Paula Deen amounts of butter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">But don&#8217;t worry, the resulting broth is worth the splurge!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9756-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9756-1024x682.jpg" width="503" height="335" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Fresh rosemary, from my Mom&#8217;s garden is perfect for the butter sauce!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9762-682x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9762-682x1024.jpg" width="303" height="455" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I use a Cajun seasoning blend to add a kick.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I like Slap Ya Mama brand or Tony Cachere&#8217;s.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9760-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9760-1024x682.jpg" width="500" height="333" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Add the garlic and grated onion and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9763-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_9763-1024x682.jpg" width="500" height="333" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Stir in the chopped rosemary and Cajun seasoning.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Living in Louisiana, we are served a massive amount of delicious Cajun delicacies. We eat our fair share of fried catfish, gumbo, jambalaya, boiled crawfish, bread pudding, pralines, and, my favorite, <b>beignets</b> {just to name a few}. These fluffy fried pillows of goodness are covered in a blanket of powdered sugar and served piled high on a plate. How can it get any better that that?!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp; The most famous place in the country that serves <b>beignets</b> is<b> Cafe Du Monde</b> in New Orleans. They have a short and sweet menu, basically<b> beignets</b> and coffee, preferably Cafe Au Lait, a combo of chicory coffee and milk. They have two locations in New Orleans and the main location, right off of Jackson Square, is open 24 hours a day. Service is fast, the food is good, and if you are ever in the area I recommend you stop by! I have been eating at <b>Cafe Du Monde</b> since I was a kid and I love stopping there on my trips to New Orleans and the surrounding areas {they have a wonderful drive through location in Covington, LA too}.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/1526879_10151975407135980_2116443617_n.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/1526879_10151975407135980_2116443617_n.jpg" width="320" height="320" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;During my birthday trip to Baton Rouge, LA we visited <b>Coffee Call</b>, which was a local <b>beignet</b> and cafe au lait stop. I swear if you blinked twice you would think was <b>Cafe Du Monde</b>! Same decor, same food, same prices, and<i> almost </i>as amazing. &nbsp; It was a wonderful find and I am sure to make a pit stop there when I drive through the city now.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">Needless to say, I love<b> beignets </b>and so does my family. But it&#8217;s one of those recipes I have never tried to make at home because they are so darn good at <b>Cafe Du Monde</b> {and now <b>Coffee Call</b>} why would I mess with a good thing? But after my last trip to NOLA earlier this month for the IRetreat conference, I decided what the heck let me give it a try at home!&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/20160625_144055-576x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/20160625_144055-576x1024.jpg" width="180" height="320" border="0"></a><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/IMG_1262-768x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/IMG_1262-768x1024.jpg" width="240" height="320" border="0"></a><br />
Coffee Call beignets on the left and Cafe Du Monde beignets on the right. Which is better?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<p>Ok, I&#8217;ll be honest. I had a few bombs. Many, many <b>beignets </b>were tossed in the garbage and poor Ashton, my hubby/taste tester, did his job his job well and probably doesn&#8217;t want to see another <b>beignet</b> for a good year or so. &nbsp; But finally we had a winner! I perfected a recipe that was, in my opinion, right up there with the big dogs at <b>Cafe Du Monde</b>!Give it a try and let me know what you think. I hope you love them as much as we do!&nbsp;</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I am beyond excited to share my version of this southern classic recipe with y&#8217;all today!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">When I received not one but two beautiful veal roasts from <b>Mountain States Rosen/Cedar Springs Veal</b> I knew right away what I wanted to make first: <b>Grits and Grillades</b>. I first had this comfort food meal on my New Orleans trip in February and I have been dying to recreate it at home. This rich, homestyle dish is usually made with veal cutlets but I used the veal roast and cooked it down in a stew of sauce and then served the tender and juicy sliced veal on top of stone ground local grits. Heaven on a plate.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/20160227_095458-576x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/20160227_095458-576x1024.jpg" width="310" height="551" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Sunday Brunch in NOLA.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">A little bit of everything on my plate including Grits and Grillades.</div>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter" style="border: 0pt none;" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/sticks-5.png" align="center"></p>
<div style="text-align: center;">Four reasons on why you should try&nbsp;<b>Cedar Springs Veal</b>:&nbsp;</div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<div style="text-align: center;">1. <b>Incomparable in taste.</b> Veal is moist and tender, with a velvety texture and considered a delicacy in many cultures.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">2. <b>Veal is good for you!</b> Veal is lean, full of nutrients, and a standard portion is only around 400 calories.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">3. <b>Versatile Veal.</b> There are many cuts available including ground, shank, chops, roasts, and loin. &nbsp; There are so many ways to cook veal too including grilling, roasting, slow cooking, stir fried, pan fried, and broiling.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">4. <b>Safely and responsibly raised.</b>&nbsp;The veal from <b>Mountain States Rosen</b>&nbsp;comes from family farmers in the eastern states who are dedicated to producing the highest quality veal with the highest quality raising standards. The farmers take extremely good care of the animals by feeding them the most wholesome, nutritious diet, minimizing stress, and providing health maintenance and safe housing.&nbsp;</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6030-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6030-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Add crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Stir to combine and season with salt and pepper.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6055-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6055-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Bring to a boil again then reduce to a simmer.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Cook for at least 1 hour, until the sauce is thick and the veal is cooked through and tender.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6143-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6143-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Remove the veal from the pot to a cutting board.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">It will most likely pull apart into smaller pieces.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Remove any visible fat and discard.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6145-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6145-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Slice or cube the veal roast.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6148-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6148-1024x682.jpg" width="320" height="213" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I love these local stone ground grits, made super creamy with milk and butter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6152-682x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_6152-682x1024.jpg" width="298" height="448" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">To plate: add the sauce from the pot to the center of the</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Finally, top with sliced veal.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">There are so many layers of flavor to this dish.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Talk about comfort food!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Chill your cocktail glass in the freezer before preparing your drink.<br />
I like to use a martini glass.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4575-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4575-1024x682.jpg" width="403" height="268" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Add a small amount of vodka to a plate or wide bowl and add all three colored sugars, in purple, green, and yellow to a plate.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4578-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4578-1024x682.jpg" width="406" height="270" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Dip the rim of the chilled glass in the vodka.<br />
<img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4579-1024x682.jpg" width="403" height="268" border="0"><br />
To make the sugar just add 1-2 drops of food coloring to a 3 separate<br />
tbsps of sugar and stir until combined.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4583-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4583-1024x682.jpg" width="403" height="268" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Then dip a different section of the rim in a different color sugar.<br />
&nbsp;<a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4587-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4587-1024x682.jpg" width="401" height="267" border="0"></a><br />
&nbsp; To make the cocktail start with a handful of ice cubes added to a shaker.<br />
&nbsp;<a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4595-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4595-1024x682.jpg" width="403" height="268" border="0"></a><br />
&nbsp;Add 2oz Chila &#8216;Orchata Cinnamon Cream Rum to the shaker.<br />
<a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4591-682x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_4591-682x1024.jpg" width="303" height="455" border="0"></a><br />
Now add 2oz King Cake Vodka.<br />
You could also use Vanilla Vodka.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">This hearty, flavor packed monster of a sandwich is a Louisiana speciality.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Ever since eating my first Muffuletta as a child at <strong><em>Central Grocery</em></strong> in the French Quarter in New Orleans,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I have been hooked and now I make mine at home including the delicious olive salad spread.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/IMG_6935-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/IMG_6935-1024x682.jpg" width="400" height="266" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">The bread is crusty, covered in sesame seeds and about 10 inches around. It is usually cut in quarters (enough for one person), halves or served whole for 2-4 people. I bought mine from my local <a href="http://www.mcalistersdeli.com/">McAlister&#8217;s Deli</a>. They get the <b><i>Gambino</i></b> brand <b>Muffuletta</b> bread shipped to them fresh and I was able to buy just the bread from them for a couple bucks.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/IMG_6915-1024x682.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/IMG_6915-1024x682.jpg" width="403" height="268" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">If you can&#8217;t find the traditional <b>Muffuletta</b> bread you can use crusty French bread or even an herb Focaccia bread would be delish! For the olive salad spread, which is absolutely essential for this recipe, you can create your own by mixing olive oil, peppers, olives, and pickled veggies or go the easy route like me a buy a jar of <b>Olive Salad</b>. I love the <i><b>Boscoli</b></i> brand!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;I remember, back in the day, driving to Pensacola with my folks and eating dinner at my favorite Cajun restaurant, Copelands. They had delicious seafood, beautiful decor, and a jaw dropping jazz brunch. Alas, all good things come to an end and one day it went out of business. I was crushed! Well, now I live in good ol&#8217; Louisiana and guess what restaurant I spotted on my first trip to Alexandria (the closest &#8220;big&#8221; town to us)? Yep, you got it: <strong>Copeland&#8217;s of New Orleans</strong>! Ashton and I had dinner there right away and I&#8217;ve since been back for lunch a few times too. They have one of those huge menus (think: Cheesecake Factory) that is somewhat overwhelming but just about everything is lip smacking good! What are my faves you ask?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I tend to stick to their Classics and Fish along with their new Small Plates Menu.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">1. <strong>Catfish Ricochet</strong> &#8211; hands down my favorite! Lightly fried, with pecans, sesame, and Creole Meuniere sauce!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">2. <strong>Chop Salad</strong>, obviously! Great as an appetizer or add sliced steak and amke it a meal! Check out the recipe below!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">3. <strong>Shrimp Ducky</strong> &#8211;&nbsp;Duck and Shrimp are a match made in heaven in this rich pasta dish with Burgundy mushroom sauce.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">4. <strong>Eggplant Pirogue</strong> -fried eggplant on pasta, topped with crab claws, shrimp, and au gratin sauce.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">5. <strong>Cajun Gumbo Ya Ya</strong> -classic Cajun loaded with shrimp and scallops!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">6. Anything and everything on their <strong>Brunch Buffet</strong>!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">7. Copeland&#8217;s side items are large portions and rich flavors. Try the <strong>Loaded Mac and Cheese</strong>, <strong>Corn Macque Choux</strong>, <strong>Creamed Spinach</strong> and <strong>Smothered Green Beans</strong>!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">8. <strong>Banana&#8217;s Foster</strong> &#8211; Who can forget dessert?! This sweet concoction is amazing and big enough for 2-3 people!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" style="border: 0pt;" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/fork-4.png" align="middle"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jTgpP2uQHRA/UFvLzcvhSHI/AAAAAAAACp8/96MnLW75guI/s1600/2012-04-13_21-05-12_826.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/2012-04-13_21-05-12_826-1024x577.jpg" width="320" height="180" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;Catfish Ricochet with Creamed Spinach and Corn Macque Choux</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mhtLboiJVlo/UFvL2UvNZkI/AAAAAAAACqE/103zz4y1do4/s1600/2012-04-13_21-05-29_639.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/2012-04-13_21-05-29_639-1024x577.jpg" width="320" height="180" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;Jambalaya Pasta</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_jyWsQVUCLU/UFvL56PCnkI/AAAAAAAACqM/RLlnvk9XPKI/s1600/2012-04-13_21-05-47_22.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/2012-04-13_21-05-47_22-577x1024.jpg" width="180" height="320" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;Here&#8217;s a tip: ALWAYS sign up for your favorite restaurant&#8217;s email newsletter. It&#8217;s a great way to find out bout specials and receive coupons and bday deals! Copeland&#8217;s has a great email program, with a $10 sign up coupon and free dessert on your bday!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OFG2vILDLFg/UFvMCmcXblI/AAAAAAAACqU/_KWZxDCkWLo/s1600/2012-04-13_21-35-59_993.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/2012-04-13_21-35-59_993-1024x577.jpg" width="320" height="180" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Copeland&#8217;s now has a Cheesecake Bistro offering all sorts of delicious cheesecake goodness but my fave will always be the classic Bananas Foster, served warm with gourmet vanilla ice cream!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6U3XP8cyvRQ/UFvN-hfShxI/AAAAAAAACqc/u0fLTSQksWI/s1600/hxm-HGdIrn6t1dmhbhr_tR92jmx5psa4IFZkkoW1vf8.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/hxm-HGdIrn6t1dmhbhr_tR92jmx5psa4IFZkkoW1vf8.jpg" width="320" height="239" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Another tip: Try the Small Plates for lunch or dinner! It&#8217;s a great way to sample a few items or have a &#8220;tapas&#8221; style dinner with a few friends. Here my hubby ordered a burger (surprise, surprise) but my Mom and I ordered&nbsp;two sides and Pecan Crusted Catfish and Oyster Eggplant Remoulade. This way we saved room for dessert..you guessed it&#8230;Bananas Foster!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" style="border: 0pt;" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/spoon-4.png" align="middle"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="font-size: large;">Copeland&#8217;s Chop Salad</span></strong></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong><em>Here&#8217;s a simple version of Copeland&#8217;s classic for you to make at home! </em></strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EtfgI-WbPt4/UFjtrUklRXI/AAAAAAAACoc/WWatJC2Wd0o/s1600/IMG_7627.JPG"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/IMG_7627-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Super easy and super tasty!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Dice all your ingredients! I pretty much stuck to what was in the Copeland&#8217;s original but you can add whatever you want&#8230;it&#8217;s yummy any way you make it!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong>Serves 2, as an entree</strong></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Ingredients:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Bag of salad lettuce, finely chopped</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">2 boiled eggs, chopped</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">1/2 red onion, chopped</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">4 slices of crunchy bacon, chopped</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">1 avocado, diced</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">1/2 cup hearts of palm, chopper</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">1/3 cup radish, chopped</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">4-6 oz crumbled blue cheese</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">1/3- 1/2 cup fried onions (to top the salad)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">red wine vinegar, to taste</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">crushed black pepper, to taste</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-poxMTF-ZcNA/UFjtiwHvDxI/AAAAAAAACoI/Gx1Dv3TTwK8/s1600/IMG_7625.JPG"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/IMG_7625-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
