<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b>Spinach and Artichoke Dip</b> has been a comfort food favorite of mine forever but when I moved to Louisiana a few years ago I discovered a twist on the <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">boring</span>&nbsp;regular ol&#8217; tortilla chip I was used to serving with my dip. In Louisiana they serve <b>Spinach and Artichoke Dip</b> hot out of the oven with crispy fried <b>Bow-Tie Pasta Dippers</b>! I have had the in restaurants all across the state and now I won&#8217;t eat my <b>Spinach Dip</b> with anything else! Don&#8217;t be intimidated, they are super simple and don&#8217;t take long at all to make a bowl full. In fact, I fried all of mine while my <b>Spinach Dip</b> was browning in the oven.&nbsp;</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We also stayed at the Steel Magnolia Bed and Breakfast in Natchitoches. Yes, my friends this is where <i>Steel Magnolias</i> (my favorite movie <u>ever</u>!) was filmed!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">It was so cool to hear the real story that the movie was based on</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;and see the locations from the film! Of course we watched <i>Steel Magnolias</i>&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">that night in our room too!&nbsp;</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">We chose to use a bread bowl or round loaf from the bakery.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Just carve out the insides and cubed the bread you cut out and toast it. Serve on the side as dippers.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">We also used garlic pita chips to dip. YUM!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6RDZuJPXJ_A/ULfpRMG3oWI/AAAAAAAAEbY/ckswYZpLwmE/s1600/IMG_8064.JPG"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/IMG_8064-768x1024.jpg" width="240" height="320" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Tip: Add the onions first and let them cook down for a couple minutes then add the garlic.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">This way the garlic doesn&#8217;t burn.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dEA40n1LFTo/ULfpWWwewhI/AAAAAAAAEbg/hIgCNm-maMg/s1600/IMG_8066.JPG"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/IMG_8066-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I like to lightly toast the chopped bread from the inside&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">of the bread bowl and serve on the side for dipping.</div>
