<p style="text-align: center;">This Dollar Store craft is one of my favorites! I made this wreath using a simple plastic heart and a bunch of artificial roses from The Dollar Tree . It can be a little tedious hot gluing the roses on but after you get the hang of it, it comes together rather quickly! The end result is a beautiful lighted rose wreath for Valentine&#8217;s Day!&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-27903" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200129_014544-01-768x1024.jpeg" alt="" width="400" height="533" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200129_014544-01-768x1024.jpeg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200129_014544-01-225x300.jpeg 225w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200129_014544-01-1152x1536.jpeg 1152w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200129_014544-01-1536x2048.jpeg 1536w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200129_014544-01-scaled.jpeg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-H57vAxKMWJ0/Vi-R5SnG1YI/AAAAAAAAcvk/s8lpWavmomQ/s1600/fork.png" data-blogger-escaped-style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img decoding="async" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-H57vAxKMWJ0/Vi-R5SnG1YI/AAAAAAAAcvk/s8lpWavmomQ/s1600/fork.png" align="center" border="0" data-blogger-escaped-style="border: 0pt none;"></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">What You Need:</p>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: center;">1 plastic heart tinsel covered sign&nbsp;</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">8-10 bunches of artificial roses, any color</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">1 pack of string fairy lights</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">hot glue</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">wire cutters</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">ribbon, optional</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: center;">Directions:&nbsp;</p>
<ol>
<li style="text-align: center;">Start by unraveling and removing the tinsel and words from the plastic heart sign. You should just have the crisscross plastic heart frame left.</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">Now cut all the roses from the plastic stems so you just have a bunch of rose blossoms.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">Using the hot glue, add a couple dots to the back of the roses, then attach to the cross cross sections of the plastic heart.</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">Keep adding until it is fully covered in roses.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">Wrap the string of lights around the wreath.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">Optional: You can also glue on a ribbon loop on the top of the back for hanging.&nbsp;</li>
</ol>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Happy Fat Tuesday!&nbsp;</h3>
<p style="text-align: center;">This month has flown by and I <em>almost</em> forgot to share this cute <strong>Mardi Gras Wreath</strong> I crafted last week.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">It cost me $5 in supplies from the Dollar Tree and took about 5 minutes to make! My kind of easy peasy craft, for sure!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Make one for your Mardi Gras decor or parties today too!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-28214" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200225_150631-01-768x1024.jpeg" alt="" width="400" height="533" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200225_150631-01-768x1024.jpeg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200225_150631-01-225x300.jpeg 225w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200225_150631-01-1152x1536.jpeg 1152w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200225_150631-01-1536x2048.jpeg 1536w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/20200225_150631-01-scaled.jpeg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></p>

<ul>
<li style="text-align: center;">2 Feather Boas {I used Mardi Gras colors}</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">1 package of plastic beaded necklaces</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">1 decorated Mardi Gras mask</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">Foam round wreath frame</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">hot glue</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">ribbon, for hanging</li>
</ul>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Directions:&nbsp;</h3>
<ol>
<li style="text-align: center;">Start by wrapping your boas around the foam wreath, covering completely.</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">Glue the ends of the boas on the back of the frame to secure.</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">Now glue on your mask to the front. I added mine to the bottom corner at an angle.</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">Finally add a few strands of beads across the center of the wreath and glue on the frame on both sides.</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">I used a small ribbon to loop across the top and tied in a bow to hang on my front door.</li>
<li style="text-align: center;">Happy Mardi Gras!</li>
</ol>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><i><b>Spread Cheer with Simple Surprises with Betty Crocker cookie mix!</b></i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><i><b>&nbsp;</b></i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Christmas is my favorite time of year and I love spending all my time celebrating with my family. But it&#8217;s hard to make time for everything during the hectic holidays and it&#8217;s easy to get overwhelmed. I love to bake Christmas cookies with my daughter, to give to friends and family as gifts, but that can be exhausting! Luckily we use <b>Betty Crocker®</b> cookie mixes and not only are they easy to make and delicious but they save so much time! More precious time for me to spend with my family.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I created this Christmas sugar cookie wreath using <b>Betty Crocker® &nbsp;Egg Nog</b> cookie mix. I use the same ingredients as called for on the package {egg and butter} but I add flour to make it slightly more dense and I melt the butter, then I can roll them out and cut into leaf and bow shapes. You can also add green coloring, red sugar, and candy beads to make it more festive! Ava loves helping me bake cookies for Santa and this is one of my favorite family traditions with her! I cannot wait until Stella is old enough to help too.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The Egg Nog flavor was fantastic in these cookies and my kitchen smelled divine when they were baking!&nbsp;<b>Betty Crocker®</b> also has peanut butter and sugar cookie mixes along with holiday flavors like pumpkin spice and gingerbread. Honestly y&#8217;all any of those sound good to me! All you need are some decorative sprinkles and candies, holiday cookie cutters, and food coloring and you can create this wreath in minutes! Let the kids help and you will make memories that will last a lifetime!&nbsp;</div>
