DIY 5 Minute Mardi Gras Wreath | Dollar Tree Craft

Happy Fat Tuesday!

This month has flown by and I almost forgot to share this cute Mardi Gras Wreath I crafted last week.

It cost me $5 in supplies from the Dollar Tree and took about 5 minutes to make! My kind of easy peasy craft, for sure!

Make one for your Mardi Gras decor or parties today too!

What you need:

  • 2 Feather Boas {I used Mardi Gras colors}
  • 1 package of plastic beaded necklaces
  • 1 decorated Mardi Gras mask
  • Foam round wreath frame
  • hot glue
  • ribbon, for hanging

Directions:

  1. Start by wrapping your boas around the foam wreath, covering completely.
  2. Glue the ends of the boas on the back of the frame to secure.
  3. Now glue on your mask to the front. I added mine to the bottom corner at an angle.
  4. Finally add a few strands of beads across the center of the wreath and glue on the frame on both sides.
  5. I used a small ribbon to loop across the top and tied in a bow to hang on my front door.
  6. Happy Mardi Gras!

I just love these fun and festive feather boas from the Dollar Tree!

They were perfect for my Mardi Gras wreath and would make great party decor too!

This craft was made in minutes and looked so fun on my front door.

Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler {Let the good time roll}!

Hope you enjoy Mardi Gras 2020!

🍳 How fun is this April Fool's Day breakfast egg prank?! My kids love all the silly tricks we do on April 1st so this year I thought of a new one to really fool them. I served "sunny side up eggs" for breakfast, two different ways! Check out the details on the blog. 😂😂😂

Time to be transparent. I have been struggling for a while now. I feel like I lost myself years ago. Self worth is so important and I am just now starting to love and focus on me again. I am not striving to be perfect but I am so excited to be a healthier, happier me this year.

My girls and I had a delicious meal at the one of a kind @wellmetcafe . Standouts were the Tokyo Fog drink with yuzu and boba which tasted like Fruit Loops and the amazing Onyx bacon and soft scrambled eggs with creme fraiche.
Next time I can't wait to try the avocado toast and the Taking Back Sunday chicken sandwich. 🥑

One of my favorite quiet spots in all of Missouri - beautiful Roubidoux Springs in Waynesville, MO. We spent so many afternoons here fishing, splashing, hunting for treasures, skipping rocks, having picnics, and cuddling our dogs. I loved being able to visit again yesterday and enjoy the serene environment and warm sunshine. A must see! ☀️
