<p style="text-align: center;">Here are some of my coffee bar tips for any holiday party.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-27315" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5519-701x1024.jpg" alt="" width="402" height="587" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5519-701x1024.jpg 701w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5519-205x300.jpg 205w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5519-768x1122.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5519-1051x1536.jpg 1051w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5519-1401x2048.jpg 1401w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5519-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 402px) 100vw, 402px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">First, set out the coffee maker and the coffee. I add both ground coffee {medium blend} and multiple flavors of K-cups to the table.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-27322" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5542-683x1024.jpg" alt="" width="398" height="597" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5542-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5542-200x300.jpg 200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5542-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5542-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5542-1365x2048.jpg 1365w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5542-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 398px) 100vw, 398px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I also added K-cup hot chocolate for the kids.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-27320" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5538-683x1024.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="599" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5538-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5538-200x300.jpg 200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5538-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5538-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5538-1365x2048.jpg 1365w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5538-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I set out a tray of my favorite ceramic Christmas mugs for everyone to use.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-llClfRFqfjw/XhN2WeyTAbI/AAAAAAABNxY/5JBP_q5GPt8TwMeqU084PMK9beYMbEmlgCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/IMG_5558.JPG" width="401" height="602" border="0" data-original-width="1067" data-original-height="1600"></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I also add a nice tray out with chilled milk and creamer along with whipped cream and caramel and chocolate sauce.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-27319" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5536-683x1024.jpg" alt="" width="402" height="603" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5536-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5536-200x300.jpg 200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5536-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5536-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5536-1365x2048.jpg 1365w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5536-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 402px) 100vw, 402px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Now, set out your treats.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Depending on the theme party and your guests, you can customize what you set out. I usually serve shortbread cookies and biscotti since they go well with coffee.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I also like to have bite size donuts and chocolate mints on the table.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-27323" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5543-683x1024.jpg" alt="" width="403" height="605" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5543-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5543-200x300.jpg 200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5543-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5543-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5543-1365x2048.jpg 1365w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5543-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 403px) 100vw, 403px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Finally, toppings are a must!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I add little decorative bowls filled with every coffee topping you can think of!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Some of my favorites are: mini marshmallows, white sugar, brown sugar, peppermint sticks, colorful sprinkles, cinnamon, and chopped up chocolate and caramel candies.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-27316" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5531-1024x683.jpg" alt="" width="498" height="332" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5531-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5531-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5531-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5531-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5531-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/IMG_5531-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 498px) 100vw, 498px" /></p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have been a lover of fondue since my first visit to <b>The Melting Pot</b> with my parents many, many years ago in Pensacola, FL. I remember then, as a little girl,&nbsp;how excited I was to watch them create these decadent cheese or chocolate creations in front of me! And I loved to cook my own meats in the bubbling broth and try the variety of mouth watering selection of sauces they set out. To this day<b> The Melting Pot</b> is still one of my favorite restaurants, especially for a Girls Night Out or Romantic Date Night.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Last month, I had the pleasure of taking my hardworking husband on a long weekend to Houston. He had never been to <b>The Melting Pot</b>, actually I don&#8217;t think he had ever had fondue before (gasp!), so I knew that had to be our first stop!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-626s7Ww9of4/USKlkzDK-II/AAAAAAAAGpY/tFXa8Otuibw/s1600/IMG_8825.JPG"><img decoding="async" class="" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/IMG_8825-768x1024.jpg" width="409" height="545" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We ordered the <b>Four Course Experience</b>, which is a fun and clever concept and perfect for a couple out for a romantic evening! You choose one cheese fondue to share, you each&nbsp;select an individual salad, then you each select your individual entrée&nbsp;and finally choose&nbsp;one chocolate fondue&nbsp;to share. It&#8217;s a great way to sample a little bit of everything off the menu!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b>What we ordered: </b></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Mama&#8217;s Hoppin&#8217; John New Years recipe:</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">It&#8217;s a tradition in my family to eat Hoppin&#8217; John on New Year&#8217;s Day.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Here&#8217;s a little tidbit from Wikipedia:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><i>&nbsp;&#8220;Throughout the United States, eating Hoppin&#8217; John on New Year&#8217;s Day is thought to bring a prosperous year filled with luck. The peas are symbolic of pennies or coins, and a coin is sometimes added to the pot or left under the dinner bowls. Collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, chard, kale, and cabbage etc. along with this dish are supposed to also add to the wealth since they are the color of money. Another traditional food, cornbread can also be served to represent wealth, being the color of gold. On the<br />
day after New Year&#8217;s Day, leftover &#8220;Hoppin&#8217; John&#8221; is called &#8220;Skippin&#8217;<br />
Jenny,&#8221; and further demonstrates one&#8217;s frugality, bringing a hope for an<br />
even better chance of prosperity in the New Year.&#8221;</i></div>
