<p style="text-align: center;">This fun spring craft only requires boiled eggs, water, paper towels, and food coloring and makes beautiful vibrant and unique Easter eggs.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-39495" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/20230409_190546.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="400" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/20230409_190546.jpg 1200w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/20230409_190546-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/20230409_190546-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/20230409_190546-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/20230409_190546-640x853.jpg 640w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/20230409_190546-150x200.jpg 150w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMxnQ98yy6Rgn7pejrgqKCjg6eZg-bAU4xQ6qaW8sQ5U3hvleFIoow6x0063q5dbPYyxdnDUc4E_suaALUXX76qOwR-gljDMSiMIlw1otvRFAZtcwPEH_37t44344lJBo3V4lZJsslGdTx/s1600/sticks.png" align="center" data-original-attrs="{&quot;style&quot;:&quot;&quot;}"></p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">What you need:</h3>
<p style="text-align: center;">Large hard boiled eggs, dried and cooled</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">A variety of food coloring</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">A roll of paper towels</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Small rubber bands</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Spray bottle filled with water</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Directions:&nbsp;</h3>
<p style="text-align: center;">1. Use smaller rectangle size paper towels or cut a full size paper towel into two.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">2. Add an egg in the middle of each paper towel and wrap it around the egg completely.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">3. Twist closed at the top and secure with a small rubbed band. Repeats with all eggs.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">4. Now get creative and add drops of different shades of food coloring all over each egg. You can do designs or just add drops of color but leave some white space.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">5. Next, use a spray bottle filled with water and spray all over the paper towel covered eggs, so the colors bleed all over the towel. Do this over a plate or bowl to catch the mess. You can even wear gloves!&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">6. Squeeze the towels to remove any extra water then set the eggs aside to dry.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">7. When full dried (we leave ours overnight or use a fan to speed up dry time) remove the rubber bands and unwrap each egg.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">8. Display and enjoy your pretty Easter egg creations!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I love when my girls work together on projects. This as such an easy and fun way to decorate our eggs.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I bet we will use this technique every year from now on.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Start by adding your eggs to the air fryer basket. I made 4, spaced slightly apart.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">I cooked my boiled eggs 3 ways- hard, soft, and runny. What&#8217;s your favorite?&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I use hard boiled for egg salad, soft for topping avocado toast, and runny for noodle bowls.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-33828" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/IMG_0010-1024x683.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" srcset="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/IMG_0010-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/IMG_0010-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/IMG_0010-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/IMG_0010-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/IMG_0010-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/IMG_0010-150x100.jpg 150w, https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/IMG_0010-scaled.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I love them all but the runny eggs are my favorite especially served on top of ramen.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I know what I&#8217;m having for lunch today!</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have always wanted to try to bake a<b> Frittata</b>, basically a crust-less quiche baked in a skillet, and I thought this week was as good a time as any to try! I had been racking my brain trying to create a unique recipe for <b>The Wild Rice Recipe Contest</b>&nbsp;and I thought what about a <b>Wild Rice&nbsp;Frittata</b>?!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Add some asparagus, portobello mushroom, and gooey cheese and I had a delicious meal for Meatless Monday and {possibly} a winning dish!&nbsp;</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">I love using hearty, flavorful wild rice in my cooking!&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4823-1024x768.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4823-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I used two of mine and my daughter&#8217;s favorite veggies: asparagus and mushrooms.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4825-1024x768.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4825-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Add olive oil to a deep skillet heated over medium. Add chopped portobello and asparagus and sauté for a few minutes to soften. Stir in garlic, shallot, and salt and pepper and another tbsp of olive oil and sauté until fragrant, about another three minutes.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4832-1024x768.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4832-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Fluff your cooked wild rice. I cook mine in vegetable broth for some extra flavor.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4831-1024x768.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4831-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Add rice and beaten eggs to the skillet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4833-1024x768.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4833-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Tilt the pan to evenly distribute eggs.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4834-1024x768.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4834-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Stir in 1/2 cup cheese and add additional salt and pepper if needed.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4836-1024x768.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4836-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Finally add remaining cheese to the top of the frittata and place in the center of the oven to bake.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until lightly golden and eggs are set.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4837-1024x768.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4837-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Fresh out of the oven and looks delish!&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4838-768x1024.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4838-768x1024.jpg" width="240" height="320" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Let cool slightly and then carefully turn skillet upside down and</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">then flip frittata out onto a plate or cutting board.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4842-1024x768.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4842-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4846-1024x768.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4846-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I was so happy with how this recipe turned out. The frittata was a beautiful color and you can see all the veggies and rice throughout. It has a hearty and slightly crunchy texture that I loved.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4856-1024x637.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4856-1024x637.jpg" width="320" height="199" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">You can serve on either side. The bottom is obviously more golden but looks pretty either way to me!&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4854-1024x671.jpg" width="313" height="205" border="0"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">This is the frittata flipped back over and cut into 6 slices for serving.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4857-1024x768.jpg"><img decoding="async" src="https://www.4theloveoffoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/IMG_4857-1024x768.jpg" width="320" height="240" border="0"></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Bon Appetit, my friends!&nbsp;</div>
