Ingredients:

Variety of small snacks such as:

Goldfish

CheezeIts

Peanut Butter Crackers

Veggie Straws

Trail Mix

Cracker Jacks

Popcorn

Dried Fruit

Granola

Sour Worms

Chips

Directions: 

1. Add snacks to each of the 18 or so openings in the snackle box. 
2. Fill to the top then snap on the lid. 
3. Your ready to go with your portable snackle box.

Who knew tackleboxes could be used for other things, right? We found these affordable ones in the fishing dept at Walmart. They have 18 adjustable slots.

This fun snackle box can be filled with so many snacks!

Our boxes had 18 adjustable spaces so I filled each with small amounts of kid friendly snacks like veggie straws, popcorn, goldfish, trail mix, and penut butter crackers.

Snap closed and it’s ready for travel!

Today is Missouri’s Bicentennial Celebration!

Since we moved to this beautiful state three years ago we have enjoyed exploring all the amazing things to do – especially the classic Route 66! We live right off “The Mother Road” and have driven the entire route through Missouri multiple times! In honor of Missouri’s 200th birthday today I am sharing this printable Road Trip Bingo Game that my family and I enjoy playing during our drives through Missouri. It features 24 fun stops and road side attractions to drive by or stop and visit throughout Route 66 in our “Show Me State”.

Some of the stops on the Route 66 bingo are in our city and county including the World’s Largest Belt Buckle at Uranus in St Robert, Mo. 

This bridge is a great photo op and super fun to drive across. The Devil’s Elbow Route 66 Bridge in Pulaski county is even decorated in lights at Christmas time!

Frog Rock in our town of Waynesville, MO is my daughter’s favorite!

The town has named him Croaker and we wave hi to him every morning on the way to school.

I love all of Route 66 but obviously I have a special place in my heart for Pulaski county. These are just a few of the fun things to do and see.

Another fun stop in Springfield is the Discovery Center. We have a family membership and go often. 3 floors of science, play, space, and even mini golf!

So today I have put together a list of items I recommend for Surviving a Road Trip with Toddlers along with a easy, made in only 1 minute, Toddler Snack Mix made with  Gerber® Lil’ Beanies!

First thing’s first- before a trip we have to stock up on snacks from my hungry clan! We buy our snacks, including Stella’s favorite Gerber® Lil’ Beanies crunchy navy bean snacks, at our local Walmart. They are in baby food aisle and my girl – no joke – can eat a whole container on her own! I love that these are nutritious baked treats with 2 grams of protein (9% Daily Value), 1 gram of fiber, and 10% Daily Value of Vitamin E per serving! 1. Stickers {we have stickers EVERYWHERE and they can never have enough}
2. Electronic drawing pad or etch a sketch type board {so much easier and less messy than paper and pens}
3. Cooler bag or mini cooler filled with bottled water, milk cups, chopped fruit, and juice boxes
4. Board books {I say board books because Stella is in the book ripping stage}
5. Baby dolls {we can never leave home with a baby or two}
6. A change of clothes for each kid including socks, underwear, and shoes {messes happen A LOT}
7. A couple towels {there will be spills} and a box of wet wipes
8. A blanket {someone is always cold}
9. Kid headphones {for your sanity}
10. A favorite taggie or blanket {something to remind them of home}

Ingredients

• 1.55 oz container Gerber® Lil’ Beanies any flavor
• 1 cup cheese flavored fish shaped crackers
• 1 cup pretzel sticks broken in half
• 1 cup honey flavored mini bear cookies
• animal shaped crackers

Instructions

• Combine all ingredients in an airtight container.
• Shake well to mix.
• Seal and store until road trip snack time!
