My whole family loves popcorn so when I came across recipes for Jell-O Popcorn on Pinterest I knew I just had to try it! There are a few different ways to make it but I thought this kind, using condensed milk, was the easiest and I love the idea of adding it to the oven to crisp up!
Use any flavor and color you want and even make rainbow popcorn!
My little helper is always excited to make treat with me!
This popcorn was {no surprise} a hit with my girls!
Also check out my Circus Crunch Munch Mix with includes Jell-O Candy Popcorn!

Colorful Jell-O Candy Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg microwave popcorn {about 8-9 cups}
  • 1 {14oz} can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 {3oz} package Jell-O gelatin {I did two batches and made red and blue}

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • In a medium saucepan mix together sweetened condensed milk and dry Jell-O mix.
  • Heat and stir over low heat until mixture is slightly thickened and bubbly, about five minutes.
  • Add popcorn to a large bowl {or paper bag} and pour Jell-O mixture over popcorn.
  • Stir gently to coat.
  • Spread out onto a lined and greased baking sheet.
  • Bake 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from oven and let cool then break apart into pieces.
  • I also added to my Circus Crunch Munch Mix.

The fun thing about this recipe is you can mix it up and do multiple colors!
In a medium saucepan mix together sweetened condensed milk and dry Jell-O mix.
Heat and stir over low heat until mixture is slightly thickened and bubbly, about five minutes.
Add popcorn to a large bowl {or paper bag} and pour Jell-O mixture over popcorn.
Stir gently to coat.
Spread out onto a lined and greased baking sheet.
Oh my heart! How sweet are these two waiting for their popcorn to bake?
Bake 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from oven and let cool.
Break apart into pieces and serve.
Fun and festive! Dig in!

🍳 How fun is this April Fool's Day breakfast egg prank?! My kids love all the silly tricks we do on April 1st so this year I thought of a new one to really fool them. I served "sunny side up eggs" for breakfast, two different ways! Check out the details on the blog. 😂😂😂

Time to be transparent. I have been struggling for a while now. I feel like I lost myself years ago. Self worth is so important and I am just now starting to love and focus on me again. I am not striving to be perfect but I am so excited to be a healthier, happier me this year.

Sundays are for brunchin' 🍳 🥓
My girls and I had a delicious meal at the one of a kind @wellmetcafe . Standouts were the Tokyo Fog drink with yuzu and boba which tasted like Fruit Loops and the amazing Onyx bacon and soft scrambled eggs with creme fraiche.
Next time I can't wait to try the avocado toast and the Taking Back Sunday chicken sandwich. 🥑

One of my favorite quiet spots in all of Missouri - beautiful Roubidoux Springs in Waynesville, MO. We spent so many afternoons here fishing, splashing, hunting for treasures, skipping rocks, having picnics, and cuddling our dogs. I loved being able to visit again yesterday and enjoy the serene environment and warm sunshine. A must see! ☀️
