The Wicked Witch is dead! This spooky twist on white chocolate bark looks just like a melted witch complete with pointy hat and broom!

#HalloweenTreatsWeek is a yearly Halloween blogging event that is hosted by Angie from Big Bear’s Wife . This spooky event is an online, week-long event that is filled with some frightfully fun Halloween treats and recipes from some fantastic Halloween loving bloggers!

Melted Wicked Witch Bark

Makes 6

Ingredients

1/2 cup white chocolate chips
green food coloring
green sanding sugar sprinkles
6 miniature Reese's cups
6 mini pretzel sticks
3 Oreo style cookies cream center removed
6 Hershey kisses
12 candy eyeballs

Instructions

1.Line a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper.
Add white chocolate to a bowl and melt in the microwave according to package, usually 90 seconds on 50% power than stir until smooth.
Add 4 drops of green food coloring and stir until the chocolate is evenly green.
Working quickly, add a heaping spoonful of green chocolate to the lined pan and spread into a puddle shape.
Add a sprinkle of the green sanding sugar on top.
Then add a pretzel stick and Reese's cup as a broom.
Next add 1 piece of an Oreo cookie, dip a Hershey's kiss in the green chocolate and add it on the top of the Oreo.
Finally, add 2 candy eyeballs.
Repeat with remaining chocolate and toppings until you have made 6.
These harden fast but you can also add to the freezer for 10 minutes to speed up the process.
Enjoy your treat or wrap in goody bags to gift.

Wicked Witch Finger Dipped Pretzels #HalloweenTreatsWeek

We hosted an outdoor movie night to watch the long awaited Hocus Pocus 2 last weekend. Ava and I made this easy snack to serve to all the neighborhood kids that came over.

Witch Finger Dipped Pretzels are a creepy, salty sweet treat to make this Halloween!

Wicked Witch Finger Dipped Pretzels

Makes 15 witch fingers

Ingredients

15 sliced almonds
15 large pretzel rods
6 ounces green candy melts about 1/2 bag

Instructions

Start by adding about half a bag of green candy melts to a medium bowl. Melt on 50% power for one minute, stir.
Then heat for another 30 seconds until fully melted and smooth when stirred.
Holding a pretzel rod by the end, dip it in the green melted candy until it is mostly covered, leaving about a one inch section undipped where you are holding it.
I lightly tap or shake the pretzel over the bowl, being careful not to break it, to remove any extra coating.
When you get to the bottom of the bowl you can use a spoon to help scoop up the candy melts and coat the pretzel.
Immediately press one of the sliced almonds, pointed side up, on the tip of the coated pretzel rod.
Repeat steps with the remaining pretzels.
When the coating has started to dry and is mostly matte but not completely hard, you can add the knuckles.
Take a toothpick and gently roll it across the top of each pretzel, in about 3 small rows, to add wrinkles.
Make two sets of wrinkles, one near the fingernail and one about halfway down the finger.
Let dry completely and serve.

Notes

To speed up drying time you can refrigerate them for 5-10 minutes.

We served these witch fingers at our outdoor movie night over the weekend!

The new Hocus Pocus 2 movie was amazing and so were all the snacks!

My little witch baby Stella loves a theme party just like her Mama!

Almost too cute (or spooky?) to eat!
