Grilled Cheese is hands down the most requested sandwich in our home. I jazz mine up with multiple cheeses, fancy thick bread (sourdough is my favorite), and salted butter.

Now that I am an Air Fryer owner (finally), I have mastered the ultimate air fryer grilled cheese and it was so good I may never cook it in a skillet again! Give it a try for lunch today.

I am loving my new Christmas gift: my Ninja Foodi! It has a lot of functions but my favorite is the air fryer!

How did I ever cook without one before?!

These sandwiches are so delicious and absolutely a cinch to make! The secret: salted butter and sourdough!

Butter all four slices of bread on one side only.

Place the two sliced cheeses on the unbuttered side of two slices of bread.

Cover with the other two slices of bread, buttered sides up.

Add the two sandwiches in the air fryer basket.

Cook at 375 degrees for 4 minutes.

Open air fryer and flip sandwiches.

Add 1 tbsp shredded parmesan to the top of each sandwich, spreading to cover.

Shredded parmesan adds another delicious layer of flavor to this grilled cheese!

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until melted and golden.

I love crispy melted cheese on top of hot sandwiches.

Remove sandwiches, slice, and serve warm.

Lunch is served and in under 8 minutes!
