I’ve got a monster sized dessert to share with you today!

We have this restaurant that we love when we go home to Florida called BJ’s Brewhouse. It’s been so long since we’ve been there that I can’t even remember all our favorite menu items except their signature dessert: a Pizookie! A Pizookie is a giant cookie topped with ice cream and served in a pie pan. Basically it’s a pizza style cookie (get it?!) and it is amazing! I have wanted to make one at home and when I saw a video on Tiktok showing that you could make one in your AirFryer, I knew I had to try! It came out spectacular, brown and crunchy on top and warm and gooey inside.

If you love chocolate and have a sweet tooth give this recipe a try at home and let me know what you think!

Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Pizookie

Makes 4-6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz package chocolate chip cookie dough
  • aluminum foil
  • ice cream for topping
  • chocolate and caramel sauce for topping

Instructions

  • Spread a sheet of aluminum foil in the bottom of your air fryer basket.
  • Remove cookie dough from the package and press into the bottom of the foil lined basket, spreading to cover.
  • Turn your Air Fryer to 350 degrees and bake for approx 16 minutes.
  • When your cookie is done carefully lift both sides of the foil and remove the cookie from the Air Fryer basket.
  • I placed ours on a platter and topped with a few scoops of ice cream.
  • Finally drizzle with chocolate and caramel (if you'd like) and serve with spoons so everyone can dig in!
  • If you don't care about presentation or want an easier way to serve, just scoop some soft cookie and ice cream topping in a bowl and serve!

Notes

The Tiktok video said to cook for 10 minutes but that was definitely not enough time for ours. I did 15-16 minutes and it was perfectly crunchy on top and gooey inside!

This recipe works with any flavor cookie dough but I love a classic so we went with Chocolate Chip cookie dough!
