Mickey Rice Krispie
These Mickey Mouse Shaped Rice Krispies Treats are fun to make and a favorite of both adults and kids. I dipped these in chocolate and added Mickey shaped sprinkles for a fun touch!
My little cuties loved making and eating these fun treats!

Last month I hosted a Disney Kids Preschool Playdate, sponsored by Disney Parks, at our local park. We had a whopping 40 adults and kiddos attend our Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed shindig. Stay tuned for the party blog post tomorrow {and a DIY Mickey Waffle Bar}. Until then, check out a few fun photos from our party then scroll down for the Mickey Mouse Chocolate Dipped Rice Krispies Treats recipe.
Our Mickey photo frame and character props were a cute touch!

My kiddos, Ava and Stella, played and played and played some more. These two had such a blast with their friends playing Mickey games and eating Mickey themed food!

Prepare Rice Krispies treats according to directions above.
Let cool then turn on to a cutting board.

Cut into Mickey Mouse shapes with a cookie cutter.
I found this Mickey cookie cutter at Walmart.
You should get about 25 Mickey shaped Rice Krispies treats out of the one pan of Rice Krispies treats.
Melt half a bag of chocolate chips in a medium microwave bowl at 1/2 power for 45 seconds. Stir then heat in 15 second intervals until melted. Stir until smooth.
Working fast, dip the ears of each Mickey shaped Rice Krispies treat in the melted chocolate.
Gently shake of any excess.
Place on a baking sheet covered in parchment paper.
I found these Mickey shaped sprinkles on Amazon here. They are made by Wilton and are also available online through Walmart and Party City.
Sprinkle on a few Mickey shaped sprinkles then let dry.

Melt the remaining half bowl of chocolate chips and repeat with remaining Rice Krispies treats.
Let dry before packaging. I found this cute sign on Etsy to frame for our party favor table.
Order it here
I placed one Mickey Rice Krispies treat in a clear bag and used Mickey ribbon to tie
 on printed Thank You tags.
They were a delicious goodie for everyone to take home after our Disney playdate!

🍓 Today is National Pick Strawberries Day. Going to local farms and picking fresh produce is one of our favorite family traditions. We were lucky enough to go strawberry picking at @eckertfarms last weekend. It was the biggest farm we have ever been to and quite a memorable experience! We left with a basket full of fresh juicy berries, strawberry cider and pastries from the market, and soaking wet clothes (but smiles on our faces). I'll share more about the hail storm that hit us in the middle of the field later... ⛈️😨 #nationalpickstrawberriesday #farmfresh #strawberry #eckerts #farmtotable #farmlife #illinois #springtime #familyfun #eckertfarms #eckertsmemories

❤️This week marks 2 years since our beloved cocker spaniel Dylan passed away. I created this free printable Rainbow Bridge poem on the blog in honor of Dylan. It can be customized with your pet's photo and would be a cherished framed gift for someone who has lost a special pet. #rainbowbridge #doglove #dogheaven #rip #mydog #neverforgotten #rainbowbridge🌈
