Minions food
Yes, it is still minion madness in our house! We took our little minion lovin’ Ava to Alexandria last week to see the minion movie and the Grand Theater there had a huge event for the kids with face painting, balloon animals, games, crafts, and even puppies to adopt! It was such a fun surprise and even better Ava wore herself out with all the festivities before the movie that she sat quietly {even though I did distract her with popcorn} and watched the whole movie! Baby Stella sat on my lap and didn’t make a peep either! Woohoo our first movie with our two babes with no crying or leaving early!

I am a huge Despicable Me fan {how can you not love Gru?} but The Minions movie was a blast!
It takes place in the 60s and there are plenty of fun references and cool music throughout.
Since Ava loves to snack like her Daddy I thought making her some Minion Munchies to take to the movies would be fun {and cost saving}. I used low fat kettle corn because we love the flavor but use any popcorn you like. Then simply add any minion themed treats you like. Store in baggies or a covered container and enjoy over the next couple days.

Comment and let me know what you think of the new The Minions movie below.
Balloon head Ava!
She’s a handful but she sure does make me smile!
Minion necklace and photo op! Thank you Grand Theater Alexandria for a great time!
My two girls loved our Minion Madness day!

We have gone a little Minion overboard at home {obviously…}.

I love the individual bags on Smart Pop Kettle Corn.
Each bag makes about 8 cups popped so I use half for
Ava’s Minion Munchies and half for Ashton and I to snack on.

I buy individual snack packs {usually at Sam’s Club} whenever I can.
They are so convenient to keep in the diaper bag and car.
These Minion Cheese Nips are adorable and perfect for this snack mix.

These Minion fruit snacks are Ava’s favorite. Cute colors and fun shapes make
 them an obvious toddler favorite!

Minion cereal in Banana Berry flavor
{tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch to me with a slight berry flavor}
is another favorite for an on the go treat.

Finally, I had to add some chocolate and this is optional of course.
I added 1/4 cup Reese’s Pieces {or try M&M’s} in yellow only.

Mix everything together in a bowl or bucket
{deal alert: we got a collectible Minion popcorn bucket at the movies!}.

Now scoop into baggies or serve to the kiddos right in the bowl.

How cute and fun is this snack mix?
I have to admit Ashton and I liked it as much as Ava!

Perfect for a snack at home, at the movies, or on the go!
