Warm Blue Cheese Dip
I have always loved Fondues and dips because not only do they taste great but making them at home is super simple and perfect for parties and gatherings! This Blue Cheese Fondue is one of my favorite party appetizers. It takes only a few minutes to prepare and it goes great with just about anything from buffalo chicken bites to cubed bread and veggies. Don’t have a fondue pot? No worries! Just pour into a serving bowl and I promise this fondue will be gone before it has time to cool down!

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounce Philadelphia cream cheese, cubed and softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 ounce crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tbsp half & half {or sub milk}
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • Assorted dippers including: cubed French bread, boiled red potatoes, sausage balls, buffalo chicken, and baby carrots

Directions:

  1. Combine cream cheese and milk in sauce pan over medium heat and blend together with a whisk {or use a mixer or immersion blender} until smooth.
  2. Turn heat to med-low and stir in blue cheese. Mix well.
  3. Mix half & half, cornstarch, and garlic salt in a small bowl.
  4. Pour into cheese mixture and whisk until thickened.
  5. Pour into fondue pot and serve warm with dippers.
  6. Time to get the party started!

Oh, man I sure do love creamy, flavorful blue cheese!

Turn heat to med-low and stir in blue cheese. Mix well.

Mix half & half, cornstarch, and garlic salt in a small bowl.

Pour into cheese mixture and whisk until thickened.
Prepare your dippers.
I like sausage balls, buffalo chicken bites, boiled potatoes, carrots, and cubed bread.
Pour into fondue pot and serve warm with dippers.
Time to get this party started!

🍳 How fun is this April Fool's Day breakfast egg prank?! My kids love all the silly tricks we do on April 1st so this year I thought of a new one to really fool them. I served "sunny side up eggs" for breakfast, two different ways! Check out the details on the blog. 😂😂😂

Time to be transparent. I have been struggling for a while now. I feel like I lost myself years ago. Self worth is so important and I am just now starting to love and focus on me again. I am not striving to be perfect but I am so excited to be a healthier, happier me this year.

Sundays are for brunchin' 🍳 🥓
My girls and I had a delicious meal at the one of a kind @wellmetcafe . Standouts were the Tokyo Fog drink with yuzu and boba which tasted like Fruit Loops and the amazing Onyx bacon and soft scrambled eggs with creme fraiche.
Next time I can't wait to try the avocado toast and the Taking Back Sunday chicken sandwich. 🥑

One of my favorite quiet spots in all of Missouri - beautiful Roubidoux Springs in Waynesville, MO. We spent so many afternoons here fishing, splashing, hunting for treasures, skipping rocks, having picnics, and cuddling our dogs. I loved being able to visit again yesterday and enjoy the serene environment and warm sunshine. A must see! ☀️
