Today is the last day of #Choctoberfest and I decided last minute to make one more delicious chocolate filled recipe. After a long day out and about I was craving a hot drink and ready to snuggle up on the couch and watch a show. I knew hot cocoa was what I needed and when I saw the bag of peanut butter chips Davis Chocolate had sent me I knew I wanted to make a batch of homemade Peanut Butter Hot Cocoa to end our long day!

Thanks to our gold sponsor Imperial Sugar and the other special sponsors including Davis Chocolate that helped make #Choctoberfest possible! Over 70 bloggers are participating in #Choctoberfest 2017 and have posted 200+ chocolate recipes this week!  I love these delicious peanut butter chips from Davis Chocolate.
They melt well and have a delicious, rich taste.
I used two Davis Chocolate products for this Hot Cocoa.
They are organic and made with simple ingredients including organic coconut sugar and roasted peanuts.
Add peanut butter morsels to a microwave safe bowl and heat in the microwave
for 1 minute on 50% power. Stir then heat for another 30 seconds on 50% power.
Stir until smooth.
Add 4 cups of milk to a medium saucepan.
Add sugar and cocoa and heat over medium heat.
Stir with a whisk until warmed and combined.
Sdd 1/4 cup of the melted peanut butter into the warmed cocoa.
Stir until well combined then remove from heat.
Pour cocoa into 2 mugs and top with whipped cream.
Drizzle the remaining melted peanut butter on top and add a chocolate cocktail stick.
 Serve hot and enjoy!
