It’s Hocus Pocus movie night and this sweet and crunchy popcorn treat is my go to for jazzing up regular ol’ popcorn!

I made mine the colors of the Sanderson Sisters in the movie but you can make it themed in any color and flavor.

Enjoy and Happy Halloween!

This super easy way to jazz up and make themed popcorn is one of our favorite party snacks!

Believe it or not this is her excited face! She loves popcorn (espeically when it is sweet and colorful).

For The Love of Food Blog

I used 3 different flavors and colors of Jell-O to match the colors of the Sanderson Sisters.

Red and green turned out bright but the purple was pretty muted so next time I would add purple food coloring too.

In a medium saucepan mix together 1 can sweetened condensed milk and 1 pack dry Jell-O mix.

Heat and stir over low heat until mixture is slightly thickened and bubbly, about five minutes.

I popped one package of microwave popcorn for each color of Jell-O. They make about 6-8 cups each.

Like I mentioned above, if your color is not bright enough you can add food coloring.

Add 1 bag of popcorn to a large bowl and pour Jell-O mixture over popcorn.

Stir gently to coat.

Spread out onto a lined and greased baking sheet.

Bake at 300 degrees for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from oven and let cool.

Then break apart into pieces.

Repeat with the remaining 2 bags of popcorn, 2 cans of condensed milk, and 2 boxes of Jell-O mix.

You can mix the colored popcorn all together like I did or serve separately in big bowls for sharing.
