For The Love of Food Blog

For this recipe I use my cast iron griddle pan since it is small and oven safe.
You could also use a glass baking dish.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Add your unwrapped round of Brie Cheese to the center of the pan.
Heat 5oz of the Fig Spread {I chose the California Orange flavor}
 in a small bowl in the microwave for 20 seconds. Warming it makes it spread easier.
Pour fig spread on top of cheese and smooth all over.
Top with 1/3 cup of shelled pistachios.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Serve with sliced apples, pears, and crackers.
Break into the soft cheese and it will ooze right out! Perfect for dipping!
The sweet and tangy orange fig spread, the salty crunchy pistachios,
and the creamy rich cheese are a match made in foodie heaven! Enjoy!

Enter to win a Gourmet 4 Pack of the new California Fig Spreads and a bag of their tasty Figlets!
