DIY Valentine’s Lighted Rose Wreath | Dollar Tree Craft

This Dollar Store craft is one of my favorites! I made this wreath using a simple plastic heart and a bunch of artificial roses from The Dollar Tree . It can be a little tedious hot gluing the roses on but after you get the hang of it, it comes together rather quickly! The end result is a beautiful lighted rose wreath for Valentine’s Day!

What You Need:

  • 1 plastic heart tinsel covered sign
  • 8-10 bunches of artificial roses, any color
  • 1 pack of string fairy lights
  • hot glue
  • wire cutters
  • ribbon, optional

Directions:

  1. Start by unraveling and removing the tinsel and words from the plastic heart sign. You should just have the crisscross plastic heart frame left.
  2. Now cut all the roses from the plastic stems so you just have a bunch of rose blossoms.
  3. Using the hot glue, add a couple dots to the back of the roses, then attach to the cross cross sections of the plastic heart.
  4. Keep adding until it is fully covered in roses.
  5. Wrap the string of lights around the wreath.
  6. Optional: You can also glue on a ribbon loop on the top of the back for hanging.

Always grateful for my husband who helps me with all the tedious work!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
