It’s Day 4 of this fun Recipe Challenge and Voting Contest with Mama Marys Gourmet Pizza Crusts!
Once a day this week I will post five fun “out of the box” pizza recipes using Mama Mary’s Pizza Crusts.
Simply scroll to the bottom of this post and vote for your favorite and
enter the contest below! One lucky reader will win a $100 VISA gift
card and VIP Product Coupons for Mama Mary’s.
Here’s some more exciting news: the winning pizza recipe chosen by my readers and Mama Mary’s fans will be featured on Mama Mary’s products in stores nationwide!
This recipe was inspired by my friend Jennifer who makes a Spaghetti Pizza casserole. I went with that idea and came up with Spaghetti on a pizza! Crazy, right? But it works! First, I season and bake the crust with garlic infused olive oil and Italian seasonings so it tastes like garlic bread. Then I top the garlic bread crust with Italian cheese and spaghetti tossed with marinara sauce. Finally, add Parmesan cheese on top and bake. It holds together well after baking and after you cut it into slices it is surprisingly easy to eat!
It’s a Spaghetti Pizza Pie will blow your mind!
Pizza + Pasta = Italian Dinner Masterpiece!

Note: Next time I think I may add mini meatballs to my pizza for even more flavor and deliciousness!

Then you are entered to win!
Come back tomorrow for the next recipe- Finger Lickin’ BBQ Pork and Mac & Cheese Pizza!

Spaghetti Pizza

Makes one large pizza

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • In a skillet heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add 2 cloves pressed garlic and stir continuously for one minute.
  • Remove from heat and pour into a bowl.
  • Brush the garlic infused olive oil on the entire one side of large Mama Mary's pizza crust.
  • Sprinkle 1/2 tsp Italian seasonings on top of crust.
  • Bake for 3 minutes at 425 degrees.
  • Meanwhile bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add spaghetti pasta and cook until done, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Drain pasta and set aside.
  • Pour jar of marinara sauce into a saucepan and warm up over medium.
  • Alternatively, you can pour it into a bowl and warm in the microwave.

  • Next, cover the sauce with 1 cup shredded Italian mixed cheese then top with pasta, spreading to cover and piling high!

For this recipe I used Mama Mary’s Thin and Crispy Pizza Crust.

I like that Mama Mary’s includes freshness bags in each package of 2 large crusts.
Use one crust and seal one in the enclosed bag for baking later!

For the garlic infused olive oil: Fill a skillet with 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil and heat over medium. Using a garlic press (or mince the garlic by hand) add two cloves pressed garlic to the oil. Stir for a minute, making sure the garlic does not stick to the bottom or burn.
Then remove from the heat and pour into a bowl.
Garlic infused olive oil! You will have some left after this recipe: try it tossed in pasta, drizzled on roasted veggies, or on crusty bread!
Brush olive oil all over one side of large Mary Mary’s Pizza Crust.
Sprinkle with Italian seasonings.
Bake for 3 minutes at 425 degrees.
Pour a jar of marinara sauce of your choice into a saucepan and warm over medium heat.

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions, usually 8-10 minutes.

Drain and toss pasta with 1/2 of the warm sauce.
Spread remaining sauce all over the garlic bread pizza crust.
Top with on cup of shredded Italian mixed cheese.
Now add your spaghetti to your pizza!
Doesn’t that look amazing?! I know it looks messy
but trust me when it bakes and you cut it into pieces the spaghetti noodles
are cut into smaller pieces and everything hold together well.
Top with 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan and bake for 6 minutes at 425 degrees.
Cut into pieces with a pizza cutter and serve warm!
Who would have thought pizza and spaghetti would be such a good match?
Hope you enjoy my It’s a Spaghetti Pizza Pie!

I recently make a turkey meatball recipe that used Amy’s chunky tomato bisque for the sauce and I put it over spaghetti squash, you could also make the recipe using lot’s of different farmers market veggies.
