Summertime is in full swing and here in Texas it is hot, hot, hot!
Even in the blazing heat my family and I love to be outside in the sunshine so I make sure to always have cold drinks available to sip on and cool down. When my favorite brand, Torani offered to send me some fruity syrup flavors for summer I knew right away I wanted to make Rainbow Slushies for my kiddos. These icy colorful drinks are a breeze to make and you freeze them then drink them right out of mason jars!
Since Torani has over 100 flavors the colors and fruity concoctions you can create are endless!

I used rainbow colors, ROYGBV and made Watermelon (red/pink) , Peach (orange), Mango (yellow), Green Apple (green), Blue Raspberry (blue), and Blueberry (purple).

With Torani, you never have to leave to go on vacation.

For The Love of Food Blog

Start by choosing your flavor/color.
You will need 1 tbsp of syrup for each slushy.

To a blender add 1/4 cup sugar.

Then add 5 tbsp water.

And about 3 cups of ice.

Pour in your desired flavor syrup.
I am loving mango, peach, and blue raspberry this summer!

1 tbsp of syrup is all you need!

For a more vibrant color I add 4 drops of corresponding color food coloring.

Now blend until slushy.

Be sure to blend it well so you get that perfect slushy drink!

I use a wooden spoon to feel and make sure I get all the chucks of ice blended well.

Pour into a mason jar, add the lid, and place in the freezer until ready to serve.

When ready to serve, remove from the freezer, shake up, then take off the lid.

Serve with a spoon and straw for scooping and sipping.

I doesn’t get much better than this!

I used 6 flavors in 6 colors to make 6 rainbow slushies. In the order of ROYGBV- Watermelon (red/pink) , Peach (orange), Mango (yellow), Green Apple (green), Blue Raspberry (blue), and Blueberry (purple).

Drink up friends and stay cool this summer with these tasty
Mason Jar Rainbow Slushies and Torani!

Honestly, there are very few flavors that I would try! I love to combine flavors, like hazelnut and caramel. The Chocolate Macadamia is definitely high on my list, too.
