S’mores Crepes #SummerDessertWeek

This post and recipe was created for #SummerDessertWeek! I was sent samples by some of the sponsor companies but as always opinions are 100% mine.
 One of our favorite summertime treats to make together as a family are S’mores over the campfire! These messy but good treats bring back so many fun memories for me, so I wanted to make a play on S’mores for #SummerDessertWeek today and make these decadent S’mores Crepes with homemade marshmallow sauce.

S'mores Crepes

Makes 2

Ingredients

  • 2 premade crepes {I used a 9 inch} or use my recipe on the blog
  • 1/4 cup marshmallow sauce {recipe below}
  • 2-3 tbsp chocolate sauce
  • 2 tbsp mini marshmallows toasted for topping
  • 3 tbsp graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips for topping
  • 2 chocolate squares for garnish
  • whipped cream for topping

For the marshmallow sauce:

  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon Adam's Extract vanilla

Instructions

  • Lay crepe flat on a plate and drizzle half the chocolate sauce on the inside.
  • Next drizzle about 1-2 tbsp of marshmallow sauce on the crepe.
  • Sprinkle on graham cracker crumbs.
  • Fold crepe in half then over again to make a triangle shape.
  • Repeat with second crepe.
  • Serve together or on two plates.
  • To garnish: drizzle remaining marshmallow sauce on top then add whipped cream and a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips. Place two chocolate squares on top of the whipped cream.
  • Serve immediately and be prepared to fall in love at first bite!

For the marshmallow sauce:

  • Bring water to boil over med low heat on a double boiler.
  • Add marshmallows and heavy cream and stir until melted.
  • Pour in vanilla and cook for another minute.
  • Serve warm.

I like using premade crepes to save time or use my recipe here to make your own.
 Homemade marshmallow sauce makes this dessert over the top!
 Bring water to boil over med low heat on a double boiler. 
Add marshmallows and heavy cream.
Stir until melted. 
 Pour in vanilla and cook for another minute.
 It will be slightly thick. Serve warm.
 Lay crepe flat on a plate and drizzle about 1-2 tbsp of marshmallow sauce on the inside.

 Sprinkle on graham cracker crumbs.

Repeat with second crepe.
