The temps here in Louisiana still aren’t feeling like fall. But y’all know I have pumpkin fever, so instead of hot drinks like my favorite ciders and coffees, I made a Pumpkin Pie Smoothie this week for the girls and I. Even better the awesome folks from Oster® and Moms Meet sent me the new Oster Pro® 1200 Blender Plus Food Processor to review and I knew this was to perfect recipe to break in my new blender!

Scroll down for the recipe and a special coupon from Oster!

You know it’s a good day when this arrives in the mail!

Ashton was more excited about a new blender than I was at first. He loves making smoothies almost daily and our little ol’ blender just wasn’t hacking it. But once I tried the Oster Pro® 1200 Blender I was super excited too! It is not only huge but boy is it powerful {I’m talking 1200 power watts and 900 watts of ice crushing power}! It crushed the ice and blended the fruit in seconds! I love this blender and all Oster products because not only are they affordable but they are durable too and last forever! This specific Oster Pro® 1200 Blender has a gorgeous and sleek modern design that looked great on my counter top and features an 8-cup BPA-free TRITAN™ Jar that’s dishwasher safe and impact and temperature resistant.

The Smart Settings™ Technology includes 3 pre-programmed
settings for the most common blender creations along with 7 speeds! This means you can just press a conveniently programmed button to blend the perfect smoothies, salsas and milkshakes!
What is better than an extra gadget? The Oster Pro® 1200 Blender also includes a 5-cup BPA-free Food Processor attachment with a slicing and dicing ability too!

My girls love to help blend smoothies in the morning for breakfast!

My little loves are such big helpers in the kitchen!
Smoothies are not only healthy and delicious but an easy recipe to make together.
One of my favorite tips for smoothies is use frozen fruit.
We prep our fruit on the weekend and place it in baggies in the freezer. Using frozen bananas and berries means less {or no} ice needed for your smoothie!
I found this Pumpkin Pie flavored Greek Yogurt
and knew it would be delicious in a smoothie!
You could also use vanilla or plain yogurt.
Time to build our smoothie!
First add a chopped frozen banana.
Next add 3/4 cup of milk.
Then a 1/2 cup scoop of pumpkin puree.
Now add the container of pumpkin yogurt.
Finally, season with 1 tbsp maple syrup.
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice for the finishing touch!
For this recipe we added a handful of ice cubes too.
Ava counted out five.
Both girls loved the new “fancy” Oster blender and
the Smoothie Smart Setting made it a breeze to blend up in a flash!
Blend it all up using the smoothie button.
Ready in just seconds!
Pour into two glasses- or four kids cups- and if you want to go all out {why not?} add whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice on top.
How delish is this fall inspired smoothie?
My girls loved their “Pumpkin Shakes” and I loved making it with them!
Happy Fall Y’all!
If it’s still unseasonably warm where you are {it sure is here}, cool down with these Pumpkin Pie Smoothies for breakfast! I loved making them with my girls in my new Oster Pro® 1200 Blender!
