Mother’s Day is almost here and when I came across these adorable silicone flower pots for baking, I knew I had to make a Mother’s Day treat with them! My Mom loves gardening so I decided to use the Candy Roses I created for Stella’s birthday last month and add them to a Chocolate Flower Pot Muffin.
They turned out cuter than I imagined and are a precious Mother’s Day gift and treat!

Flower Pot Muffins with Candy Roses

Ingredients

  • 6- 12 Silicone Flower Pots
  • 1  Double Chocolate Muffin Batter find my recipe link above
  • 6-12 Candy Roses instructions in photos below

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Arrange silicone flower pots on a baking sheet.
  • Coat the inside of the pots with nonstick spray.
  • Use a cookie scoop and add batter to the flower pots, filling 3/4 full.
  • If you have any remaining batter fill up muffin liners. I made 6 flower pots and a dozen muffins.
  • Bake for 16-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • While the muffins bake, make the candy roses using jolly rancher candy and wooden skewers.
  • Cut the skewers in half {depending on how tall you want your roses to be}.
  • Using a marker or paint, color the skewers attached to the flower green.
  • Remove muffins from the oven and let cool completely then place on a platter or decorative tray.
  • Insert one stemmed rose into each flower pot.
  • Optional: decorate with floral toothpicks, green icing, sprinkles, and floral napkins.
  • Serve with a spoon for scooping out and enjoy your beautiful treat!

I found these silicone flower pots at Cracker Barrel restaurant.
I have also seen them by Wilton brand at Michael’s craft stores and Kroger grocery store.
As always you can find them on Amazon too!
Place your flower pots on a baking sheet {I had 6} and line a muffin pan with liners for your additional batter {if any}.
Use a cookie scoop and add batter to the flower pots, filling 3/4 full.
Bake for 16-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely.
Meanwhile, make the candy roses using jolly rancher candy and wooden skewers.
Check out my easy how to here.
Cut the skewers in half {depending on how tall you want your rose to be}.
Using a marker or paint, color the skewers attached to the flower green.
Insert one stemmed rose into each flower pot muffin.
Place on a platter or decorative tray. You can also decorate with floral toothpicks, green icing, sprinkles, and floral napkins.

These are so neat, so pretty! I love them! I'm not sure my flowers would come out as nice as yours though!
