Box of Chocolates Charcuterie Board

Ingredients

  • 1 large heart shaped box of chocolates
  • 3 slices salami
  • 2 slices prosciutto cut in half lengthwise
  • 12 crackers I used 2 kinds
  • 1 chocolate covered strawberry
  • 6 raspberries
  • 4 garlic stuffed olives
  • 2 tbsp smoked almonds
  • 2 tbsp pink candy corn
  • 1 mozzarella stick cubed
  • 5 cubes of smoked gouda
  • square of cranberry goat cheese
  • 6 slices smoked sausage
  • 6 cheddar crisps
  • 2 wrapped chocolates like Ferrero Rocher
  • 2 heart shaped pink truffles

Instructions

  • Remove chocolate from the candy box and set aside for another use (or snack)!
  • Fill the empty inserts with different small charcuterie board toppings.
  • I like cubes of cheese, small crackers, mini pickles, olives, nuts, and folded and rolled "rose" shaped meats like prosciutto and salami for savory options.
  • I then add a few sweet items, specifically for Valentine's Day, like pink candy corn, raspberries, Ferrero Rocher chocolates, and chocolate covered strawberries.
  • Add the box lid and share with your sweetie for Valentine's Day!

Notes

The ingredients are exactly what I used for my size box. Feel free to adjust to foods you like and what will fit.

Start with a large box of chocolates. I didn’t splurge on the giant box since I wasn’t buying it for the chocolate.

This one had 20 chocolates and was around $10. Remove the chocolate and set aside for another time.

Now lay out all your snacks and prep them. I cube the cheese, slice sausage, and fold and roll the prosciutto and salami into roses.

Fill the empty slots with snacks of your choice. Like I said I had 20 spots but you can put more than one item in each.

I like cubes of cheese, small crackers, mini pickles, olives, nuts, and folded and rolled “rose” shaped meats like prosciutto and salami for savory options.

I then add a few sweet items, specifically for Valentine’s Day, like pink candy corn, raspberries, Ferrero Rocher chocolates, and chocolate covered strawberries.

Add the box lid and share with your sweetie for Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
