Today I am sharing one of my favorite family holiday traditions for the holidays:
Holiday Pull Apart Breakfast Bread!
Last year I teamed up with Pillsbury® to share this special family recipe featuring Grands!® Flaky Biscuits in a cooking video {check it out below}. Today I wanted to share the step by step recipe and photos with y’all. Just in time for Christmas! Let me know what you think and share your favorite holiday tradition in the comments.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg Grands Flaky biscuits
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • zest from 1 orange
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Open biscuits and separate. Cut biscuit dough into 4ths.
  3. Add all ingredients to a large freezer size zip top bag, seal, and shake to combine.
  4. Grease a round baking pan or large pie plate and pour ingredients in, spreading to fill all gaps.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and baked through.
  6. Serve warm, in the baking dish, and pull apart to eat and share!

The key to this recipe is flaky biscuit dough that pulls apart when you bake it.
I like to use Grands!® Flaky Biscuits.

Open biscuits and separate. Cut biscuit dough into 4ths.

Add biscuits to a large freezer size zip top bag.

Add 1 cup of brown sugar. Then you can customize this recipe however you like.
I chose dried cranberries and chopped pecans.
I also love walnuts and dried apples.

Zest one orange and add all the toppings to the bag.

Mix everything together in the bag.

Now pour in a couple tablespoons of melted butter and seal and shake.

Grease a round baking dish or pie plate.

Pour ingredients in, spreading to fill all gaps.

Shake any loose toppings right on top!

Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

It should be golden brown and cooked through.

Serve warm, in the baking dish, and pull apart to eat and share!

🍳 How fun is this April Fool's Day breakfast egg prank?! My kids love all the silly tricks we do on April 1st so this year I thought of a new one to really fool them. I served "sunny side up eggs" for breakfast, two different ways! Check out the details on the blog. 😂😂😂

Time to be transparent. I have been struggling for a while now. I feel like I lost myself years ago. Self worth is so important and I am just now starting to love and focus on me again. I am not striving to be perfect but I am so excited to be a healthier, happier me this year.

Sundays are for brunchin' 🍳 🥓
My girls and I had a delicious meal at the one of a kind @wellmetcafe . Standouts were the Tokyo Fog drink with yuzu and boba which tasted like Fruit Loops and the amazing Onyx bacon and soft scrambled eggs with creme fraiche.
Next time I can't wait to try the avocado toast and the Taking Back Sunday chicken sandwich. 🥑

One of my favorite quiet spots in all of Missouri - beautiful Roubidoux Springs in Waynesville, MO. We spent so many afternoons here fishing, splashing, hunting for treasures, skipping rocks, having picnics, and cuddling our dogs. I loved being able to visit again yesterday and enjoy the serene environment and warm sunshine. A must see! ☀️
