Spooky Pasta and Eyeballs

Ingredients

  • 12 oz rotini black bean pasta
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 4 individual mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 14-16 black olives sliced

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and keep warm.
  • While the pasta cooks, slice the cheese sticks into 8 circles each.
  • Take the olive slices and cut into small squares.
  • Heat the marinara sauce in the microwave or in a saucepan over med low until warmed.
  • To plate: scoop pasta onto four plates.
  • Top with a heaping couple spoonfuls of warm marinara sauce.
  • Now arrange the 8 circles of mozzarella on top of the sauce as the eyeballs.
  • Top each cheeseball with a small square of olive, as the eye pupil.
  • Serve warm with garlic bread and a salad and enjoy!

I used black bean pasta that I found at Trader Joes for this recipe. You could also use
