Kentucky Bourbon Pecan Tassies

One of my favorite party desserts are Pecan Tassies. They are simply delicious bite size pecan pies. Just like a Pecan Pie you simply mix the ingredients together in a bowl, spoon into tarts, bake, and serve! It doesn’t get any easier than that! Want to add a little something extra? Try a dollop of whipped cream of top! Check out my Bourbon Whipped Cream recipe here!

My two special touches are the addition of Kentucky Bourbon and crispy Phyllo Tarts instead of mini pie shells.

This recipe was my #7 most popular recipe in 2013! View the Top 10 here

These bite size pecan pies are always a hit at my parties!

My secret ingredient! Bourbon! Add 1-2 teaspoons for a delicious flavor.

Mini filo shells are such a fantastic ingredient to keep stocked in your freezer!
They are crispy phyllo dough shells that you can use for bite size desserts and appetizers.

I like to use chopped pecans because I like larger chunks of pecans

but you can also use small pecans pieces.

It doesn’t take much to fill up the phyllo shells. About a tablespoon or so.

Phyllo shells are a great alternative for heavy, rich pie shells.
They also are slightly smaller so they are yummy, crunchy bite size desserts!

So much flavor in one bite!

Nicole! I know you posted this 3 years ago, but this recipe is AMAZING!!! My boyfriend asked for mini pecan "tasties" and I told him I'd see what I could do. I am so impressed and so excited for him to try them! Thank you 🙂

Sound delicious. Can i use a little less sugar please? Im afraid i do like sweet food too much, so any suggestions to reduced sugar recipes would be great thank you. Thinking i might try these for our next event or Christmas gifts.

Yes, you can always half the sugar! I also like to substitute brown sugar sometimes. Hope you like them
