For today's #SummerDessertWeek recipe I made sweet Blueberry Honey Cornbread. This ultra moist cornbread in chock full of plump blueberries and drizzled with honey before baking into thick squares. This homemade cornbread is perfect for a side dish or dessert with any summer meal!

S'mores Crepes #SummerDessertWeek

One of our favorite summertime treats to make together as a family are S'mores over the campfire! These messy but good treats bring back so many fun memories for me, so I wanted to make a play on S'mores for #SummerDessertWeek today and make these decadent S'mores Crepes with homemade marshmallow sauce.

Gooey Nutella Microwave Mug Cake #SummerDessertWeek

To start this dessert filled week out, I have a delicious recipe to share: Gooey Nutella Microwave Mug Cake . This decadent cake is made in a coffee mug with 3 basic ingredients and cooks in one minute in the microwave! It's an easy single treat or make a few in just minutes!
Mug cakes have always been a favorite of mine, especially to make with my kids.
For this dessert I use Nutella as the base but I have also made peanut butter an chocolate chip cookie mug cakes too.

Chicken Divan Casserole
This classic casserole is one of my favorites to make all year long on busy family nights. It couldn't be easier to throw together and it's a delicious hearty meal. I substituted a few of the traditional ingredients for low fat ones to cut some of the fat and calories.

Ava's Minnie Mouse Birthday Party
It has been a fun Disney Week here on the blog and as it's coming to an end I want to share this fun Minnie Mouse themed party I hosted for my daughter Ava. She loves Minnie Mouse and we went all out with fun themed food, decorations, crafts, and games!
I had these invites custom made on Etsy by Jubilee Creations.
I like to send digital invites and print a few for family and framing.
How was this almost 3 years ago? I miss my little lady being so tiny but I am excited that she is growing up and learning so much too!

Copycat Disney Pineapple Dole Whip {Served Family Style}
It's Disney Week and I have a tasty treat that just about everyone loves when they visit Disney World {and Disney Land too}: the Dole Whip! This delicious soft serve pineapple flavored dessert is the perfect refreshing treat on a hot day at the parks and is only available in a few select locations.
You can find Dole Whip and Dole Whip Floats here:
- Disney's Polynesian Resort at Pineapple Lanai, the pool refreshment stand, offers Dole Whip and Dole Whip Floats!
- Adventureland in Magic Kingdom Park at Disney World. Aloha Isle offers Dole Whip in pineapple, orange, vanilla or swirled.
- Animal Kingdom's Tamu Tamu in Africa carries delicious African food and Dole Whip soft serve.
- The Tiki Juice Bar at Disneyland Park serves Dole Whip, fresh pineapple spears, pineapple juice and floats made with Dole Whip.
I knew I had to make our favorite Disney frosty treat this summer at home for my girls.
It was surprisingly easy to make and only requires 2 ingredients! Even better it is dairy free, just as delicious as the original, and has no added sugar!
I fell in LOVE with the Polynesian Resort during my visit! The lobby alone is stunning but the pools, villas, even the landscaping make you feel as if you are really in the tropics!
Available at the Polynesian Resort. Try the quick service version at Captain Cook's for half the price!

Croque Monsieur Sandwich | Disney's Be Our Guest Copycat Recipe
It's Disney Week here on the blog and today I wanted to share one of my favorite sandwich recipes with y'all, that just so happens to be served at Disney World. Croque Monsieur
is a decadent French style grilled or baked ham and cheese sandwich that is served at Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom.
You can make this sandwich open faced and baked or as a traditional grilled sandwich the way Disney does. It usually comes with a rich bechamel sauce on top but for an easy shortcut I made a spread with sour cream and Dijon mustard like the restaurant serves. I hope you enjoy this recipe and my pictures from the amazing Be Our Guest castle restaurant!
It really is one of my favorite restaurants EVER.
Lots of menu choices for lunch.
Tip- Use the Disney App to get a dining reservation. Dinner is hard to get but lunch you can usually score a reservations 20-30 days ahead.

Disney Foodie Gift Guide and Giveaway!
It's Disney Week here on the blog and I have so many fun things to share with y'all!
Last month, I was lucky enough to take a trip to Orlando for the BlogHer17 Conference and the amazing folks at Disney World gave me a media pass to tour the new Pandora land at Disney's Aniaml Kingdom along with the three other parks over two days. With a jam packed schedule I decided, heck this is probably the only time EVER I will be at Disney without kiddos so why not complete the 4 Park Disney Challenge?! Everyone loves it, you can add just about anything to it, and it's easy to make! I've even made fudge in my Crock-Pot before!
