Christmas Lights and Decorations Scavenger Hunt – Free Printable!

Family Christmas traditions are a big deal in my family and we have quite a few special ones we do together every year! One of my favorites is driving around together, sipping hot cocoa, and looking at neighborhood Christmas lights. Both grownups and kiddos {and the dog too} enjoy this and we do it multiple nights throughout the month.
So I thought I would create a printable Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt list for my kids and for y’all, my awesome readers, that are Christmas fans too. Also be sure to check out my favorite light displays from all over the South in the photos below.
Scroll down to download and print. Enjoy!
Christmas lights never get old!
We love exploring our cities and checking out the beautiful lights all month long!

Now that we are parents, Ashton and I have really gotten into decorating our own home with lights. This is from Stella’s first Christmas in Louisiana.
Every year we pile into the car with blankets and hot cocoa and check out the lights.
Last year in Texas we had Ashton’s convertible which was super fun to drive around in!
Have you ever seen a house with dancing lights? They are my kids favorite!
The house is covered head to toe in multi colored and they are set to “dance” to Christmas music that is played on the radio or a speaker.
This is a shot of one in Deridder, LA.
Natchitoches, La is one of the top 10 Christmas towns in the US and when we lived in Louisiana we went every year for their beautiful Christmas festival.
It’s not just Christmas lights that we like. We also enjoy visiting the local zoos, gardens, parks, and museums for their Christmas decorations and photo ops, like this Grinch at Hodges Gardens.
You know I couldn’t skip Disney World! They have hands down the BEST Christmas lights ever!
This is from Hollywood Studios 4 years ago.

This year we visited Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and LOVED the “ice” covered lighted Cinderella castle!
Another beautiful light display is Dollywood Christmas.
The whole town of Gatlinburg was absolutely breathtaking at Christmastime two years ago.
The Bagwell Dancing Lights in Springfield, MO are not to be missed!
Of course, I had to share a shot of our home this year.
Complete with giant minion and lots of Disney magic!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

You have taken light watching to a new high level. Those places were so great to be around during Christmas. I need to get out and see the lights in my town before the New Year comes.

We drove around looking at Christmas lights last night. This would've been so much fun to take along.
