We love making fun treats on snow days and this one was our favorite! Fluffy, clean snow is mixed with just two or three other ingredients to make the tastiest winter treat of them all: Chocolate and Vanilla Snow Ice Cream!
We finally got a few inches of snow here last weekend!
These two foodies were going stir crazy inside for four days so we made snow ice cream and watched a movie. The perfect winter evening at home!

Check out my new post: Snow Day Games and Crafts for Kids featuring 18 activities including my Snow Ice Cream!

All you need for this easy snow ice cream are 3-4 ingredients including fresh snow!

Fluffy, clean snow is perfect for this chilly treat!

This is the perfect craft for kids to make!

Only a few ingredients and stir it up!

These cute kids said this was the BEST ice cream ever!

Stir together all the ingredients {for either vanilla or chocolate}
except snow in a chilled bowl.

Add scoops of snow, about a cup at a time.

Stir until combined.

Continue adding as much snow as you need.

Stir gently until you get the ice cream-like texture you want.

Be sure to eat right away and do not place in the freezer.
It will freeze into a block of ice.

I think Stella liked hers!

Stay warm friends and have a fun snow day!

That's brilliant. Never realised that you can make ice cream out of snow but it's amazing, too bad we don't get snow here

This is so neat! I'm in Florida so I honestly didn't even know eating snow was really a thing haha but I love that you turn it into a sweet little winter treat! Sprinkles on top are a must. 😉

After cruising down Route 66 last week we decided to make a pit stop for lunch at this one of a kind spot located on Kingsley Air Field: 🛩️ Hangar Kafe.
We watched planes take off, pet the friendly local pups, checked out the vintage cars on display, and then went inside the cozy themed restaurant and enjoyed a tasty home-cooked diner style meal. Highly recommend checking them out!
Bonus: skydiving and hot air balloon rides are offered next door!
