Ingredients:

Makes 8+ monsters

  • 8×8 container of Rice Krispies Treats {my recipe here}
  • 1 pkg Wilton candy eyeballs
  • 2-3 small pkgs candy melts in assorted colors
  • Halloween sprinkles {I used Sweets and Treats}
  • 8 cake pop sticks, optional

Directions:

  1. Prepare your Rice Krispies treats in the pan and let cool.
  2. Using monster or Halloween shaped cookie cutters, press into the square of Rice Krispies treats and cut out shapes. I got about 8 with my size cutter.
  3. Melt your candy melts until smooth in different bowls. I did two colors- green and pink.
  4. Dip the tops of your monster shaped Rice Krispies treats in the colored candy melts.
  5. Top with sprinkles and candy eyes {work fast before it dries}.
  6. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet to set and dry.
  7. Optional: I insert cake pop treat sticks into the bottom of each treat and then wrap individually in Wilton treat bags.

 This recipe is sponsored by one of my favorite baking brands, Wilton.
I used their fun monster shaped cookie cutters, Wilton candy eyeballs, and Wilton treat bags for this recipe.

 These small monster cookie cutter were the perfect size for these treats on a stick!

I like to lay out my treats and decide where I want to place the eyes before dipping them.

 Aren’t they the cutest?!

🍳 How fun is this April Fool's Day breakfast egg prank?! My kids love all the silly tricks we do on April 1st so this year I thought of a new one to really fool them. I served "sunny side up eggs" for breakfast, two different ways! Check out the details on the blog. 😂😂😂

Time to be transparent. I have been struggling for a while now. I feel like I lost myself years ago. Self worth is so important and I am just now starting to love and focus on me again. I am not striving to be perfect but I am so excited to be a healthier, happier me this year.

Sundays are for brunchin' 🍳 🥓
My girls and I had a delicious meal at the one of a kind @wellmetcafe . Standouts were the Tokyo Fog drink with yuzu and boba which tasted like Fruit Loops and the amazing Onyx bacon and soft scrambled eggs with creme fraiche.
Next time I can't wait to try the avocado toast and the Taking Back Sunday chicken sandwich. 🥑

One of my favorite quiet spots in all of Missouri - beautiful Roubidoux Springs in Waynesville, MO. We spent so many afternoons here fishing, splashing, hunting for treasures, skipping rocks, having picnics, and cuddling our dogs. I loved being able to visit again yesterday and enjoy the serene environment and warm sunshine. A must see! ☀️
