This Mile High Fresh Strawberry Pie was assembled in a matter of minutes and after putting it in the fridge and letting it set for a couple hours {I know the wait killed me!} we topped it with whipped cream and dug in! It was sweet and absolutely delicious and totally worth the wait!
I love that this recipe can be customized for just one serving or even a large 8X8 serving (9 servings). It is simple and delicious and after macerating the berries in sugar it takes only a few minutes to prepare. Then just pop in the oven and serve warm with ice cream or fresh whipped cream on top.
Here’s a quick and simple red, white, and blue fruit salsa recipe that’s both sweet and tart and pairs perfectly with the salty chips {if you like salty and sweet combos you will LOVE this!}.
Wild Blueberries and hot buttery grits are a match made in foodie heaven!
