The Pioneer Woman's Perfect Pot Roast

As most of you know, Ree Drummond, aka The Pioneer Woman, is one of my biggest inspirations. I have had the pleasure of meeting her and she was as sweet and darling as ever. I have most of her cookbooks and love making her easy and delicious recipes. This recipe, for Ree's Perfect Pot Roast, was a tasty weeknight family meal. I cooked it low and slow in my Crock-Pot and it turned out delish! Give it a try, you'll love it too!

Colorful Jell-O Candy Popcorn

My whole family loves popcorn so when I came across recipes for Jell-O Popcorn on Pinterest I knew I just had to try it! There are a few different ways to make it but I thought this kind, using condensed milk, was the easiest and I love the idea of adding it to the oven to crisp up!
Use any flavor and color you want and even make rainbow popcorn!
My little helper is always excited to make treat with me!
This popcorn was {no surprise} a hit with my girls!

Antipasto Pasta Chip Nachos

I was brainstorming unique nacho recipes and I saw Pasta Chips on the shelf at the store.
I decided to give it a try and stick with an Italian topping theme. The result was rich and delicious. Go easy on the meat and cheese because the chips can be salty.
Give them a try for game day and enjoy!

"Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner" Dirty Dancing Lemon Bars for Movie Monday

It's that time again- Movie Monday!
This month's theme was Romance so naturally I chose a classic: Dirty Dancing.

This hit came out in 1987 and stared dreamy Patrick Swayze as a resort dance instructor and Jennifer Grey as "Baby", his lucky new dance partner for the summer. It featured a final memorable dance to "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" and pretty much made every girl that year fall head over heels for Mr. Patrick Swayze!
These gooey lemon bars, layered with fresh lemon and a buttery shortbread crust, are a delicious treat year round! Perfect for sharing with your loved ones on movie night! Inspired by "Dirty Dancing" for Movie Monday, you are going to love these 'Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner' Lemon Bars!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Lactation Cookies

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of 1 Natural Way, a TRICARE breast pump provider. All opinions are entirely my own.
These delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Lactation Cookies are thick and chewy and contain healthy ingredients that help boost the milk supply in nursing mamas.
Three of the ingredients, oatmeal, flax seed, and brewer's yeast, all help promote the production of breast milk. I also added two of my favorite treats, chocolate and peanut butter, because who says lactation cookies have to be bland, right? These cookies are both good for you and taste great!
That's a win for this busy Mama!

Scroll down for the recipe and check out my Sunrise Smoothie for Lactation Support here.

DIY Snowman Donuts for Kids

It's a snow day here and my kiddos are begging to be entertained!
Luckily I had a quick food craft set up for them (that doubles as breakfast too).
We first made these DIY Snowman Donuts at a local Christmas event at our fire station and I loved how they created easy winter favorites, like reindeer and snowmen, out of donuts. Since it is cold and sometimes snowy here I thought the snowman donut would be perfect- and it was!
