Today I used a fantastic grilling product called Smokin-O’s to add a delicious wood-fired flavor to my Grilled Turkey Legs. These turkey legs are easy to grill and fun to eat. They are one of my favorite festival and amusement park meals, so I knew I wanted to make them at home this summer for my whole family!

Cookout Week is in full swing and I am loving all the delicious summertime recipes my fellow bloggers and I are sharing! Scroll down to see all the recipes shared today.
 Get real wood-fired flavor from your gas grill with Smokin-O’s.
Their secret recipe of 100% real wood and spices contains no hidden chemicals or binders (unlike many charcoals).
 Smokin-O’s are available in three flavors- Original, Mesquite, and Applewood. Best of all, grilling with Smokin-O’s is super-easy and there’s no soaking, no fuss, no mess and no wait.

Grilled Turkey Legs

Ingredients

  • 1 3- pack turkey legs
  • seasoning of choice to taste {I used McCormick Grill Mates Cowboy Rub}
  • 1 Smokin- O's wood ring {I used Mesquite flavor}

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to high {about 400+ degrees}.
  • Put your Smokin-O's ring on top of the grates, directly over the flame.
  • Closed lid and wait 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile season your turkey legs liberally with any seasoning blend you like. I use a Cowboy Rub.
  • Now turn the heat down on your grill to about medium low {325-350 degrees}.
  • Place turkey legs on the grate above or next to the Smokin- O's ring.
  • Cook for 20 minutes, then flip and cook for another 20 minutes or until skin is brown and crisp and the meat is cooked through.
  • Remove to a platter and serve warm.

Preheat your grill to high {about 400+ degrees}.
Put your Smokin-O’s ring on top of the grates, directly over the flame.
Closed lid and wait 10 minutes.
Start with a 3 pack of big ol’ turkey legs. Obviously these guys are bone in, skin on
and just beggin’ to be grilled!
Meanwhile season your turkey legs liberally with any seasoning blend you like. I use a Cowboy Rub.
Now turn the heat down on your grill to about medium low {325-350 degrees}.
Place turkey legs on the grate above or next to the Smokin- O’s ring.
The first time I cooked these I used a lighter seasoning and then wrapped in bacon!
This time I wanted more of a crust so I used the Cowboy Rub.
Cook for 20 minutes, then flip and cook for another 20 minutes or until skin is brown and crisp and the meat is cooked through.

 Remove to a platter and serve warm.

I received this product for free from Smokin’ O’s for #CookoutWeek.
As a #CookoutWeek blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog.
