We’ve got a fun weekend ahead of us, most excitedly the new Smurfs The Lost Village movie comes out this Friday, April 7th! To celebrate I made Smurfs Blue Cream Cheese Fudge and I’m hosting a giveaway for a Smurfs Movie Prize Pack! This tasty blue fudge has just 2 main ingredients and is topped with homemade chocolate smurf candies! How fun is that?!

A little about Smurfs The Lost Village:

In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does. Embarking on a rollercoaster journey full of action and danger, the Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history! Rated PG.

Smurfs Blue Cream Cheese Fudge

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bag white chocolate chips
  • 16 oz jar cream cheese flavored frosting
  • blue food coloring
  • blue sprinkles
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips for making Smurfs toppers {optional}

Instructions

  • If you are making chocolate smurfs, melt 1 cup of milk chocolate then spoon into a plastic small Smurfs mold.
  • Chill for 20 minute then remove from mold and place back in fridge until ready to use. Repeat process until you have used all of the chocolate {makes about 20}.
  • For the fudge: melt white chocolate according to package. You can use a double boiler or the microwave.
  • Once it is smooth and melted remove white chocolate from heat.
  • Stir in frosting. Mix until well combined.
  • Add in blue food coloring until you get desired color {5-6 drops} then stir.
  • Pour into an 8X8 pan lined with parchment paper.
  • Smooth and fill the pan evenly.
  • Sprinkle the top with blue sprinkles.
  • Add a few chocolate smurfs on top, pressing in gently.
  • Refrigerate until the fudge sets, at least 1 hour.
  • Remove from the fridge, lift out of the pan with the parchment paper, and cut into squares.
  • Serve immediately or store in a covered container in the fridge.

I found this adorable Smurfs candy mold on Etsy for only $2!
Find it here.
If you are making chocolate smurfs, melt 1 cup of milk chocolate until smooth.
Spoon into a plastic small Smurf mold.
Chill for 20 minute then remove from mold and place back in fridge until ready to use.
Repeat process until you have used all of the chocolate {makes about 20}.
For the fudge: melt white chocolate according to package. I used a double boiler.
You can also use blue candy melts and skip the food coloring.
But I prefer the flavor of white chocolate.
For the fudge: melt white chocolate according to package. I used a double boiler.

Once it is smooth and melted remove white chocolate from heat.
I chose cream cheese flavored frosting but any white {or blue!} frosting will work.

Stir in frosting. Mix until well combined.
Now time to make it fun!
Since this is inspired by the new Smurfs movie,
I added blue food coloring and blue sugar sprinkles on top.
Add in blue food coloring until you get desired color {5-6 drops} then stir.
Pour into an 8X8 pan lined with parchment paper.
Smooth and fill the pan evenly.
Sprinkle the top with blue sprinkles.
Add a few chocolate smurfs on top, pressing in gently.
Refrigerate until the fudge sets, at least 1 hour.

Remove from the fridge and lift out of the pan with the parchment paper.
Cut into squares.
How fun- and pretty- is this blue Smurfs fudge?!

My son isn't much on sweets, not sure how I got that lucky, but he does really like veggie boats with ranch dipping sauce. If he does decide to want a sweet treat we make Fruity Pebbles Rice Krispy treats.
